We recently used glove oil to help break in my 13-year-old son's new baseball glove, and overall, the results were very positive. The glove was initially stiff and difficult to use, which made it frustrating for him to catch and close it properly. After applying the glove oil and following the recommended steps—massaging it in, shaping the glove with a ball inside, and letting it sit overnight—we noticed a noticeable improvement in flexibility within a day or two.One thing to note: the glove oil does have a strong, unpleasant odor. It’s not unbearable, but it’s definitely something to be aware of if you're sensitive to smells. We applied it in a well-ventilated area, which helped. Despite the smell, the product really did its job. The glove softened up significantly, and after a few more uses and another light application, it was game-ready.Overall, I’d recommend glove oil as an effective tool for breaking in a glove for a middle school player. Just be prepared for the smell—because while it might stink, it works!

This is an absolute TOP notch glove treatment. It goes a long way and and does a great job protecting the leather. We keep an old dish rag in a ziploc bag to use with it and it is just wonderful. Can't say enough praise on this product. It is just the best in taking care of leather gloves.

Been using this stuff for about a year on my softball glove. Keeps the pocket soft and flexible. Price is right, too.
