I can press all my husband’s work clothes for a week and still not use all the water. The temperature stays consistent. It heats up quickly from the start. It is easily portable which has enabled me to steam curtains with it. I do mot regret anything about this purchase.

I don’t know which one the reviewers are talking about but the iron is the worst, maybe they sold me a refurbished one, but this is like a useless piece of equipment, it’s not steaming, take a while to heat up maybe I need to leave it on overnight to get results. Please don’t be fooled. Leave this one alone a piece of junk.

We have had the original pro Rowenta with the tank for decades (saw it long ago on a Martha Stewart show). My husband, who used to own a dry cleaners in the 80's was always impressed with the "original pro tank version" and did all the ironing... fast. He went as far as buying one for 2 different friends as gifts because it's a game changer & time saver. Now that kids are grown and a lot less laundry to do, and our old one from long ago was getting quite worn (very), I bought the "compact" version of the tank Rowenta and was thinking about saving $$ too. Regrets. It's NO match for the original - go PRO! The compact one gurgles and doesn't have the steam push/power, when steaming there's a delay in the steaming when you stop the steam... lifting the iron it puffs out tremendously... the PRO steamed on demand & stopped on demand. I waited too long to return it because I thought I'd "give it a chance to work itself in" - still underwhelmed. If you want serious consistent steam & a great ironing experience that's fast & efficient, GET THE PRO version. NOTE: if you've never used the Pro version, you may think it's great. But stepping down from the original Pro, will definitely disappoint and make you feel like you're using an ordinary iron. Get the Pro =)

The steam machine is lovely and works very well. However, the auto-off is maddening because it shuts off every 8 minutes. I’ve owned and loved a Rowena steam machine before, but that one didn’t have automatic shut off. I sew a lot and every single time I go to press a seam have to restart the iron and wait for it to heat up.

No vuelvo a planchar con una plancha tradicional, excelente producto, no requiere que se rocíe la ropa, ahorre más de la mitad del tiempo,...lo recomiendo mucho

I have used Rowenta steam station irons for many....many years. In my view it is the best on the market. I am very happy with this product. Just a bit high in terms of price. I think if you are willing to wait (I couldn't)you can get one for lesser price than this.

Very disappointed in this iron. I was under the impression that Rowenta was a good quality iron, I am disappointed. Honestly I have to iron nearly everything on the Linen setting and at that, it doesn't do that great of a job. Am currently looking for a better iron.
