This was my favorite hair product for 25 years. The company stopped production. Very sad.

As good as the expensive pomades, but much less expensive
I used to use overpriced pomade for years. It was a brand-name that I had to buy at their store for about $22 a container. One day I was in the grocery store and saw this stuff and decided to give it a try. It works just as as well, although it doesn't have the fragrance of the more expensive stuff. That said, no one was coming in to smell my pomade anyway, so it doesn't really matter. All in all, a great product at a great price.

I have used sportin waves pomade for my hair for over 35 years. The product in the sportin wave plastic container is not the same thing. The unique smell is missing and the sheen you get on your hair after use is not there. Need I say more.
