God delivered a dog to my mother. It showed up on a cold rainy day, hiding under my car, while my 2 dogs were growling at something, I looked and seen it. It was skinny, dirty and looked close to death. I put my dogs in kennels and slowly got the dog out from under the car using water and food. I got it inside and it ran under my bed. The next day, my mom came over and the dog ran out to her, and has never left. She was curious to what type of dog he is, so I bought the dog DNA kit. It was easy to use, easy instructions and the results were quick. It even gave the dogs age, the type and so much more information. We guessed close, haha. It’s a great product at a great price and would highly recommend to anyone looking to do a doggie DNA test.

Very cool Dog DNA test kit. Did my German Shepherd and discovered some interesting genetics from this test kit. It's a real eye opener to what you think your dog is and to find out what they actually are. I would recommend this test kit to any dog owner who is wondering about their dog breed. I found it extremely accurate and easy to use (to get a sample from my dog). The test results were quick and easy to understand.

Adopted a dog; physical features seemed a bit off from her alleged breed. Test was easy to do, easy to send off, and, wow, her results were quite a surprise. But, can definitely see the qualities from her genetic mash-up, and appreciate the well-formated presentation of the DNA results. Would definitely recommend to anyone questioning why their toy breed is bulky or why Maltese has wiry coat. Love my girl regardless, but helps to know that she's not breed outlier, just.. a different mix of unique.

I am so impressed with this dog DNA test. I didn't supply any information on my dog when submitting this test, meaning no pictures, etc. I only submitted the two swabs that were needed to do the test. It was extremely easy to do, just follow the simple instructions or watch a video. It didn't take long to receive her results, and we were just so excited to find out about her. We've had her for a long time as we rescued her about 8 years ago and finally just decided to do the test on her. The person that gave her to us didn't really know what she was or how old she was, but we took her anyway. The results of the DNA test were somewhat expected just by her looks, but there were a few results that were surprising. She is a true American Standard, a/k/a mutt. I would recommend this DNA test for anyone who truly wants to know about their canine family and/or health issues that could come up.

Great product, gives very detailed breakdown of ancestry. Main complaint is that you have to set up an account that they will spam you with emails afterwards, and it takes a while for the results to come in, all the while they are trying to upsell you to the next product level.

This is a GREAT product to help your veterinarian know more about your dog's health! We recently adopted a "pound puppy". He had some health issues, and that was causing us to "second-guess" his healthcare. But, with the results of this WISDOM Essential DNA KiT, we were able to understand more about his predominant breed and any possibility of ailments specific to these breeds.
