Perfect for Jerk
I had never made jerk chicken before. I saw this recommended on a recipe to use with Walker's jerk marinade and I have to pat myself on the back. It was DELICIOUS!! My husband told me to add it to my list of regulars so it was definitely a success!!

Worth the wait
The first shipment of two bottles didn't make it. The only thing that made its way to me was the packaging. When I saw that empty envelope without my Jerk Seasoning enclosed, needless to say I was confused, then crushed when I realized someone at the post office probably sliced open the package and absconded with my Jerk Seasoning!! What is the world coming to?? Anyway, I shouldn't be telling anyone this because I should be keeping this a secret only for me, but this jerk seasoning is all that!!! I contacted the seller and explained what happened. They responded promptly and sent out another shipment. The second shipment arrived with the seasonings safely packaged. I am now able to continue to Jerk season pretty much everything, fish, chicken, pork, and shrimp. I would definitely purchase Jerk Seasoning from Koko's again, really soon at the rate I'm using it.

It's okay
This spice is okay.its very mild...doesn't have the intense flavor I was looking for. They shipped it very fast... I might order again just for my guest.

They're one of my favorite snacks and this particular brand gives a nice flavor ...
I only use this to make Jamaican Jerk Pecans. They're one of my favorite snacks and this particular brand gives a nice flavor without overpowering 'heat'. Here's the recipe: ingredients 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon Jamaican jerk seasoning 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 3 tablespoons butter or margarine 4 cups pecan halves directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In small bowl stir together sugar, Jamaican jerk seasoning and pumpkin pie spice. In a large saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter/margarine. Add pecans, toss well to coat. Sprinkle with sugar-spice mixture: toss. Spread nuts on parchment lined baking sheet; bake 8 to 12 minutes, mixing once or twice, or until lightly toasted. Let cool completely, then store in airtight container. WATCH as they will brown quite quickly (Nuts will keep in refrigerator for over a month or in the freezer for about 6 months).

Decent jerk flavor but a little salty.
This is a decent jerk seasoning but it seems a little heavier on the salt than the label would indicate, making it hard to get the level of traditional jerk flavor I was looking for without it being too salty (salt is second to last ingredient on the label but it seems like it's more pronounced than that). After grilling chicken and other meats with this product, they were definitely tasty but I would have liked a more pronounced "jerk" flavor and a little less salt.

Doesn’t taste like jerk
I did not like this seasoning. You have to apply a lot to get some coloring and then it’s salty. Also, it doesn’t taste like jerk AT ALL. I think the sugar listed in the ingredients ruins it. Now, if you eat the chicken NOT expecting it to taste like jerk, then it tastes good. But you have to cut the saltiness somehow when you’re cooking it.
