I bought a bottle of this several years ago directly from 3rd Rock. I paid full price ($80-something at that time). I don't take it regularly as a supplement, I use it when I'm not feeling well.For example, when my sinuses are acting up, I put a drop of Silver Excelsior Serum in the neti pot along with the warm salted water. If I'm coming down with something, I'll put a drop in a glass of water a few times a day.The serum has discolored over time but I sent an email to 3rd Rock and they replied saying it was fine to use it, the discoloration doesn't affect anything. I used to share it with my sister and she went ahead and bought a bottle for herself, using it the same way.We also have made up a more concentrated amount (1 dropperful in 2 oz of distilled water) that we keep in a small blue spray bottle. If her dogs have an itchy spot, she'll spray this directly on it. I'll spray it in the back of my mouth if I have sore throat.I use the Nutrasporin a lot more than I use the Silver Serum but it's really the same stuff (chelated silver) in a different medium.

I've been using this supplement for about 10 weeks now, and while I have not noticed any negative effects, I cannot say that there were definite positives either - so the jury is still out.The supplement itself appears to be of a high quality, although it would have been nice to have a bit more detail on the actual particle size. A slight fragrance and a bit of aftertaste is consistent with vegetable glycerin as well. The bottle itself is quite heavy for its size. The contents are perfectly clear, there is no sediment or any particles visible in the suspension.The debate around chelated vs colloidal silver supplement is ongoing, so you may want to do your own reading while selecting the supplement - but if you are settled on chelated, this seems to be a quality option.

The finer the tiny piece of silver is, the wider it can reach throughout the body. And the more coverage it gets, the more killing power it has as an anti-microbial.So larger Silver Particles are Less Bioavailable, while Smaller Silver Particles Are More Bioavailable. In other words, as the silver particle size decreases, it’s absorption increases.So when I look for silver supplements, I usually look for products that list the size of their silver particles. I’ve had products as small as .005 microns in its solution. And that’s mostly why I turn to colloidal silver since colloidal particles are typically smaller and evenly dispersed, making them easier for the body to absorb.Whereas this product is Chelated which means the silver is bound to oxide, in order to help them be better absorbed by the body. More specifically, the ingredients include chelated silver oxide and organic vegetable glycerin. So even though this product boasts 4000 parts per million (PPM) of liquid silver oxide, which sounds like a large volume of silver comparatively, I’m not so sure the particles are small enough to be as effective as my usual go to product.
