Solid classic stand with be around for a long time.
Solid classic stand just how I remember them. Will withstand a lot of use and abuse. I like the weighted base more than those lightweight ones with a tripod that i always feel are falling over.

Apparently I got a lemon.
Been using these for over 40 years. Except for the occasional stripping where idiots over tighten them, mine have held up. Except one I bought recently. I'm shocked. The first one that I ever bought that broke down near the base. Atlas?
