Received 2 days before it was expired. Packaged very well for shipping. My first time buying flaky salt. So glad I did! This stuff is pretty awesome. Large flakes that would make you think that it would be very salty, but it's light. Delightfully crunchy and tasty. If you get your nose up close to the surface of the salt in the container, you will notice a slight odor, but it's not unpleasant at all. Large beautiful white flakes. I've been watching a chef that uses this type of finishing salt on a lot of his dishes and was intrigued. It definitely has visual appeal. I think I would like this on soft pretzels. So often the salt on them is way too much, but it has that visual appeal. This would give that same visual appearance yet not be too salty. I will buy from this seller again! Great product.

This Maldon sea salt flakes is perfect for everyday cooking. The big, pyramid-shaped flakes look beautiful, taste clean and salty (without bitterness), and add a nice crunch. I mainly use it as a finishing touch on meats, veggies and salads. It smells fresh and natural, and since you don’t need much, the box lasts a long time. A little pricier than table salt, but totally worth it for the flavor and value.

Fresh, loose, dry and flaky, crunchy. Perfect touch to any steak, salad, etc. we go through a fair amount usually a box will last a few months, I expect this bucket to last a whole year, at least.

Arrived in perfect condition. The bucket is better than the paper box packets, although a lot of the salt crystals are broken. Will purchase again, as we love Maldon salt on our dishes.
