Why did you pick this product vs others?:LOVE LOVE LOVE The MopVac. It is Absolutely Amazing!!!! Easy to use and the suction is crazy for how small it is. We have a dog with short hair so we are always sweeping up hair. This is so much easier to use and the swivel head moves around tables, under couch, it is so easy to use. Super light. I’ve had my eye on this mop for years and finally decided to go for it—and I only wish I had bought it sooner! It’s hands-down the best mop I’ve ever used. It makes cleaning floors quick, easy, and super effective. Definitely worth the investment if you want sparkling floors with minimal effort!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this mop/vac after two family members recommended it, both with pets. This helps sweep and dust in one. I love that it’s lightweight, swivels for awkward turns, and is easy on the back. Unlike a broom that may miss dust bunnies and not always catch hair debrit, this catches all crumbs, dirt, dust and pet hair. The recharging is great too so you don’t need to bother moving around a cumbersome cord.Swivel head:I bought this mop/vac after two family members recommended it, both with pets. I use this vacuum almost every day.I got it mainly to cut down on the amount of time I spent sweeping and mopping my hardwood floors, thinking I could do it all in one.However, I can't help but say I'm a little disappointed in the mop part of this vacuum. Maybe it would work better on crumbs or things like that, but the main thing I'm vacuuming up is dog hair... and once dog hair gets wet, it sticks to the floor and becomes unable to be vacuumed up. So I quite literally use it only to vacuum my floors and don't even touch the mop function which makes me think I should have just gotten a vacuum for hardwood floors so I wouldn't have to buy disposable pads but you live and you learn I guess.I will say, it does work great as a vacuum! as long as I don't get the pad wet or use the mopping feature it sucks up dog hair with ease and makes it a breeze to clean my small apartment.The charge lasts about half an hour I'd say, which works well for me, but I wouldn't suggest it to anyone living in anything other than a small apartment.A pad can last me about a week or so depending on how much I'm vacuuming and sometimes I do go in and dig out the dog hair to make it last longer, but again, I kind of just wish I bought a normal vacuum.For what it is, it's a good vacuum, just didn't work well for what I needed it for.

I exhaust researching when I want to buy a product, and with this one, I found exactly what I wanted! I vacilated over the very popular and now common cleaners that have a rotary brush, that advertise vacuuming and mopping together. In years past, I had a cordless little vaccuum for vacuuming up quick messes, but would never want to put liquid in it. These new units advertise it all, even self-cleaning of the brush in a stand after use. I have not tried any of those. I almost bought one of those, but thougth they were very big and pretty expensive. and wanted something convenient - not combersome. I wanted something that was easy to quickly go over my floor after cooking, or a spill of some sort. I needed to buy a mop for my new luxury vinyl floor as well, and those bigger units say they do it all. But, I wouldn't need these big units because I don't have young children and animals that would make very messy messes. I really hesitated with this Shark worrying it was just too small, too light weight to be of a big value. I am SO HAPPY I decided to go ahead and try it!! The suction is unbelievably strong! Don't know how it can do it! Moves over the floor so easily and does a great job! Then the mopping feature is perfect as well! I has it's separate lever to widely spray out the liquid with the vacuum off, then going over the wet area, the disposable pad on the bottom has just the right texture to really scrub over the floor. I personally don't like the pre-mixed cleaning solution that comes with the Swiffers - seems sticky to me. This Shark unit has solution you can use and buy to pour into the small containing area on the unit, but I pour just plain water in it, so that I feel free to wet my floor how ever I want, without feeling there has to be some rinsing of it. Or a special way of applying it. I can add cleaner whenever I want, and don't have to continually buy a bottle of cleaner that attaches, when I want to do some mopping or wet clean-up. This Shark unit has never run out of battery for me. I hang it on a hook in my pantry, and plug it in occasionally if I have used it a lot. The pad on the bottom! - I end up loving it!!! Again, Shark is genious to make it to hold the dry litter from the floor in it, and you have the choice of leaving it until full, or it also opens up and you can dispose of it, emptying it and replacing without buying a new one yet. Then it is a throw-away when you decide it has been used too much. It even has a small scratcher strip along it, if you need to scrub a little on the floor. I also purchased 2 reusable cloth pads made for it,that fit perfectly that I can launder if I don't want to keep buying the disposable ones. This is EASY, does a great job, has big suction, mops the floor, is cordless, ergonomic, light weight. But mostly does a great great job. I may buy one of the machines with a spinning brush on it for when I want to really scrub the floor in the grooves of the floor- like Spring or Fall extra cleaning. But I am definitly keeping my floor very clean on a daily basis, so it always looks so clean! Thank you Shark!! I love your products! It is perfect!! High Quality!!!

This thing is life changing! I have a 1 year old who likes to eat and with that comes a messy floor. We have laminate floors. The vacuum has great suction. The true test was with cooked rice. It is so hard to get up and it gets sticky on the floor but this thing got it up! And the mop feature makes it even better because it wipes up any residual mess. There are a lot of products out there similar but for the price and how great it works I highly recommend! It’s also very compact so it can fit in a small space to store. It’s rechargeable so we just plug it in after each use.
