Marillion: Live From Cadogan Hall [Blu-ray] [2011] [Region Free]

I am a long time fan of Marillion and have seen them live several times but I was surprised just how much I have enjoyed this DVD. The quality and clarity of the picture is stunning and the sound is of course superb. Even those who know the music well will find something for them here. This is not just another live album with a group going through the motions but a quality reworking of some of their best known rock tracks which has produced an impressive acoustic gig. The band members even taught themselves to play some new instruments for this tour!This DVD is one I would strongly recommend and came via Amazon at a bargain price.

I really love this gig. It's really nice to hear these alternate versions of their songs. The presentation is fantastic and both picture and sound quality are spot on. If you like Marillion then do not hesitate to buy this. If you're new to them, you might be better buying 'All One Tonight' first. If you like that then do not hesitate to come back and buy this :)

Loved Marillion back in Fish days and to me this is a totally different group and sound, although the sound and picture quality is of a very high standard I found the music a little bit repetitive . I did however enjoy the concert and can recommend this to any Marillion fans quality recordings such as this are rare these days.

Excellent accoustic show based on the " Less is More" album. Marillion fans will love this BD as much as I did!Exotic instruments used give a new breathe to the spectacle. One of the highlights is a version of " Hard as love " from the album "Brave", beautifully accoustic performed. Really a must for Marillion fans!!!

Great DVD, have it on all the time.

Sometime you need to go back to basics to move forward. That's what Marillion did with the album Less Is More which contained reworked songs, in an acoustic treatment, but not merely just played acoustically. The arrangements have been changed, and in some cases, bettered. Highly recommended
