All natural, made in the USA and gives you twice as much product for less!
Bought Nerdwax after buying SpecStick. Nerdwax costs more and gives you less than half the amount of product, 2 grams VS 4.25 grams per stick. They mislead the consumer into thinking you get much more by making the packaging more that twice the length of the actual product. You could buy two of the SpecSticks for less than what the 4-pack of Nerdwax and still get more product to use. After purchasing both, it easy to see that Nerdwax is a rip-off in comparison. Both are just as effective, although SpecStick does have a pleasant scent, and both are made in the USA. The photo shows the size of the package compared to the total amount of product in the tube. SpecStick is the exact same size as a tube of chapstick and will last twice as long as Nerdwax. 2nd review: I work in a hospital and need to wear a mask so day, so of course I've had to deal with my glasses fogging on occasion. I've found that if you apply SpecStick to the top of the mask, it provides a very effective seal the stops any fogging, and it wipes off your face easily. I did try the competitor as well, but it didn't last very long, while SpecStick lasted most of my shift. I've even used it to seal all around the mask and it worked great. Something else to rave about when it comes to this very useful product.

doesn't work great
at first it worked pretty well but after only an hour or so my glasses are slipping down my face almost the same as if i hadn't used this with only a small increase in resistance. i don't know what they need to do to make it more grippy, add more rosin perhaps like it contains too much beesewax and sunflour oil that it's acting more like lip balm, but at this rate the "reapply throughout the day as needed" bullet point on the tube is a joke. if i did that by the end of the day i'd have applied it like 10 times and have a pile of this crap on the sides of my nose.

It works
I ride horses in SE North Carolina where the humidity is very high, so I get super sweaty. I apply this to the nose pads of my sunglasses before each ride and it keeps them from slipping down my nose. I took one star off, because it does need to be reapplied before each ride (about an hour each with heavy sweating). It doesn’t seem to make my face breakout or leave a film, which was something I was worried about. Overall, great product.

Does the job it’s supposed to.
I love SpecStick. I’ve tried other obnoxious looking ways to keep my glasses from slipping down my nose, such as nose pads and behind the ear pads, rings and bars. They never worked, and the rubber pieces placed here and there on my frames always looked bad, were uncomfortable and would go missing at awkward times. Someone pointed out a nose piece sitting on my cheek once. I wanted to crawl under the table. Those rubber pieces couldn’t keep my glasses from slipping down my nose, but had no problem grabbing ahold of my hair when I was least expecting it to and yanking a chunk out of my scalp... Ugg! SpecStick is clean, invisible, effective and actually works to keep my glasses on my nose. And it doesn’t yank my hair out unexpectedly to intentionally put me in a bad mood. What a concept. I can take the product with me because it’s discreet and easy to apply. For me simple and easy is better.

Disappointing
The first tube arrived broken. The company did send another replacement quickly, however the return label they sent me was rejected when I tried to return the broken tube and I couldn't get a hold of anyone to send me a valid label so I was charged for the replacement. The replacement tube was intact but the dial didn't work so I had to dig out the product from the tube to use it, ugh! As far as the product itself, it works ok, but not great and not for very long requiring frequent reapplications, as in hourly...just not worth the hassle with the product itself or the company's response concerning returns. I would have like to return the second tube as well but after the hassles in trying to return the first tube I didn't see the point in making more calls or trips to try and return a product that arrived non functional both times and is mediocure so I "ate" the cost of both tubes sent to me. I hate leaving a negative review, this is my first in over 13 years of using Amazon, which I rely on a lot specifically because of their great customer service. I hope the company uses my input and comments to improve their service and product. A full refund would be great as well. In fairness I will update this review if that happens.

It didn’t work for me
I too my new glasses back for adjustment and that helped at the time, but by the evening the spot where they sat on my nose was red and sore. I loosened them a tiny bit and they were back to sliding but not nearly as bad as initially so I tried this product. I found I was still pushing my glasses back up a lot. I decided to track how often I pushed my glasses up while at work (computer full time) I washed my face. I cleaned my nose and my frames with alcohol. I did not put any make-up on my nose. I applied the product. In 2 hours I noticed pushing them up 10 times. I washed my face, cleaned my nose and frames with alcohol, still no make-up. I pushed my glasses up 9 times in 2.5 hours. I will return the product. I will go back to get my frames adjusted, again. Disappointed.

It works perfectly.
I have very bad eyes and extra thick lenses. No matter how tight my glasses are, they still slide down. A small coating of SpecStick on the nose pads and it keeps my glasses from sliding down my nose. Its always the simple solutions that work the best, and SpecStick is as simple as it comes. Just don't get it mixed up with your chap stick lol.

Works somewhat
It’s sticky and helps keep glasses in place for a time. Then the glasses begin to slip. It also irritates my skin.

My glasses slip on my nose when sitting still. it's probably the shape of my nose. But this stick does help a bit. I continue to use it because I'm desperate for a solution. But I'm hoping I'll find something even better

The shape could be different…it’s shaped like a lip balm so it’s a bit awkward to apply to the bridge area of the glasses. I don’t know what shape would work that would also dispense the product…but the product works.
