This has been through the wash twice now and it has come out in perfect condition, I don't tumble dry and I always use a 40 degree wash cycle with a gentle spin and hang it outside to dry.My double sized duvet fitted in snuggly, the plastic fasteners are very good and don't open up on their own, the duvet cover holds the shape of the inner duvet, no scrunching up at all. The pillowcase has the same quality, very gentle and smooth to sleep on and that washes just fine also.Having inspected the stitching for loose threads, which is what I always do when washing bed linen, I haven't found any at all and would actually compliment the stitching on this duvet set as it's rather good.Of course, one isn't going to expect perfection at £14.99, the quality is just right at this price and the print is lovely, I will be purchasing again in the near future if the price stays the same.Recommended!

Overall I’m happy with this set. The size is accurate and it’s very pretty looking on the bed. However, the material is not nice to the touch. In fairness, they are not expensive so perhaps that’s not so surprising. I have to use a soft cotton sheet between the duvet cover and the bed’s occupants to get around the rather unpleasant fabric “touch”, and the pillows with the cases aren’t used as primary sleeping pillows. But it’s pretty good value, and hasn’t faded after three washes so far.
