Only used once, but wanted to write a review from that experience. I was looking for something I didn’t have to worry about razor burn or nicks. I used this for private area. I noticed it works great if you have quite a bit of hair. It didn’t do a smooth finish. But it made it to where I was able to finish with a regular razor, and has absolutely no irritation! The smoothest I’ve ever had! Usually if I don’t shave for a while, the first shave take forever and I already have razor burn. No matter what I use. This won’t work for leg hair unless it’s knocking down your winter hair! It’s also very quiet, compared to others. The razor feels like smooth butter in your hand also. Also I did use this in the shower. Battery power didn’t use much, so for now, that’s great! Again this is just from one use. But over all I’m happy, it provided exactly what I was looking for!

This trimmer seems high quality, is very quiet, and does a great job IF you use no guard and simply want a close cut. In that aspect, it may be one of the best I've ever used.HOWEVER, as a very hair man who prefers to leave some length to my body hair, I was hoping to use the 6mm guard for a well groomed look.I'm giving 3 stars because this trimmer REALLY struggles with longer hair when you are using any of the guards. I tried all 4 guards and it really struggles with my full length chest/leg/armpit/arm hair. From what I can tell, the clipped hairs turn sideways and pile up inside the guard which blocks the blades. I constantly have to take the guard off and dump out hair, then it's good for a few more swipes.I previously used a $20 Phillips Norelco 3000 for about 3 years which did a much better job with guards on.

The media could not be loaded. It does it’s job well. I prefer a close shave so the blade design is super important to prevent cuts. The bottom blade teeth are rounded on all sides so they don’t catch your skin. Because this is a sensitive area trimmer, the teeth are smaller and closer than your average trimmer which prevents skin from being caught in the teeth. The ceramic cutting blade sits retracted from the bottom metal blade so that only a small cutting area exists. In comparison, I had a Manscaped Lawnmower 4.0 and the bottom blade had a sharp edge that caught and cut my skin constantly, surprisingly. You should always trim carefully on your b_lls but this trimmer has the best blade design you can get and makes it hard to make mistakes. It is probably the quietest trimmer I’ve had. I also bought a Gillette Braun Intimate to compare and the Meridian is quieter, smoother, and has a wider blade. All around the Gillette seemed more premium until I turned it on. And the blade on the Meridian seems slightly safer so I’m keeping the Meridian.Recommendations for improvement: the matte soft touch finish doesn’t seem to hold up for other users and I would change that. I like to spray Andis Cool Care on my trimmers to clean and lubricate and I’m afraid that will hurt the finish. The finish also shows every molecule of oil so it’s hard to keep looking nice. And with a more premium charger and an LED light, this product would really stand out as the best.
