All in all this puts in the work! Handles well as the power and weight distribution is well balanced which is nice for ease of use! My only gripe is it works too well and eats up batteries!

I use for trimming and edging beard, mustach and for trimming nose hair. This has proven a very useful little grooming package.

My husband ordered this to replace his 20 year old Remington clipper and is very pleased with it. It works quickly and efficiently. It is supposed to be virtually indestructible and while he didn't drop it in his rock crusher to find out, he did drop the larger clipper piece on the floor accidentally. It bounced a few times and, sure enough, it was fully intact and works like new. His only complaint is that the on/off switch is on the bottom and if you switch it a little too hard, the batteries fall out. A thumb switch on the side like the old model would be better.

It doesn't work supper good, maybe it's the skin guard. But it doesn't cut or knick the skin, so that's good.

This is an updated review. I purchased this Remington "Virtually Indestructible" Trimmer in 2024. The item was utilized exclusively for trimming my eyebrows so I used it about one (1) time per month. By April 2025, the item was broken and could no longer be used. The external trimmer/blade guide had broken free from the trimmer attachment (see pics). After closer inspection, the guide was attached with very small cheap plastic clips so when you press the external guide to lift it off the blade for cleaning, it puts pressure on these clips. I'm not surprised it broke after seeing the internal design.Remington advertises a 5 year warranty on the item. Over the past month I was going through the "warranty process" with Remington and provided them numerous pics, my original Amazon receipt, and a detailed email. I thought they would send me a replacement without any further complications. Unfortunately, they then asked for the unit to be shipped back to them in California. While this is in accordance with their warranty terms, its not a customer friendly process. Shipping charges will be more than just buying another cheap trimmer. I intend to save the shipping charges and just buy a better quality non-Remington product. I strongly recommend against purchasing this Remindton trimmer.
