Very moist and chewy
This Bread is very delicious. First, it’s organic, using sourdough starter, not yeast. No artificial flavors, or colors. Very chewy, and has that definite sourdough taste. Got 2 breads. Froze one, eating the other. Toasts a little longer than non sourdough bread. Love it so far.

BEST rye I've had in a long time!
I was able to buy delicious Sourdough Jewish Rye when I lived in NYC back in the early 70's. This was every bit as good, if not better because it is made with Organic Ingredients and has real rye taste along with caraway seeds. It is a dense bread, so it is not too soft. It arrived with that great rye aroma and I immediately popped a slice into the toaster...mmmmm good! I am freezing my 2 loaves and plan on having a slice with breakfast twice a week. I have tried a couple of other rye loaves on Amazon, but they lacked flavor. I plan on ordering more in the coming months.

Tasty, sliced, a bit dry
I ordered this because I had never had sourdough rye before. It is a very tasty bread, and I've enjoyed it a lot. The texture is a bit dry for a rye bread, but not so much that it is a problem. The loaves are sliced, which I was not expecting, but which is OK.I would prefer loaves that are unsliced, so that I can prepare them to my own taste. But otherwise, this is a very good product.

Best bread I’ve had in my entire life
This is my first Amazon review. I was saving it for something that I thought was worth it, and this bread is. It is the best bread I’ve ever had in my life. I’m truly not exaggerating when I say that I found myself praying unintentionally while eating it. You can tell that this is the kind of bread that our grandparents and great grandparents ate—pure, wholesome, and made with simple, high-quality ingredients. I could not recommend it more highly. My only disappointment is that I can only give it five stars. Also, they sent a little date honey muffin for free with my order, which was adorable. May God bless your company!

Very heavy
I was looking for a yeast free bread and ran across this brand. The bread is by no means a light bread. It’s dense heavier because it lacks yeast. It’s ‘ok’ and not as heavy as others I’ve tried. I wouldn’t eat it without toasting it first though. Toasting it makes it softer and is good with fried eggs and dipping in the yoke. It’s smaller than a regular loaf or slice of bread too. I’m not planning on buying it again unless I can’t find anything else to use.

Arrived moldy
I was excited for this bread, I bought two loaves. They both arrived moldy so I was unable to try it.

A good spelt bread! *UPDATED*
I recently moved to south central Indiana from the west coast. Myself, my brother, and both of my parents all have the same “wheat issue.” We are not gluten intolerant (though mostly eat gluten free because it’s easier) but cannot tolerate regular, modern wheat. But spelt sits right with all of us! Anyways, I cannot find spelt products in the place I’m now living, and have not refined my spelt bread baking to the point of having a reliable loaf to make. And I just started law school, so I really don’t have time to be playing with baking when I hardly have time to heat up my pre-prepped meals and eat 😂 I ordered this bread, while very pricey, thinking it would be a one time thing for convenience the first few weeks of school. Well, one loaf has lasted me about 3 weeks, and I’m about to pull the second from the freezer. My toaster is a POC but this makes a nice piece of toast w/ butter/PB/avocado. I loveeee that it is naturally cultured and has no yeast though I do wish it tasted a bit more sour. Long story short, this bread is pricey, but for my circumstances I think it will be worth buying on a semi-regular basis to have a healthy, convenient option. I am hoping that if I order 4 loaves next time, shipping will be a little less than 2 orders.Okay, my first review hasn’t even been approved yet, but I have to update it. After writing this, I decided to look up the bakery, thinking it might be a little cheaper to order through them directly. IT IS! And I found out, they’re an Indiana company! Sadly, not within a distance justifiable to pick up bread for me. BUT not only is the bread and 1-day shipping cheaper through them, they also have 100% spelt buns! I will definitely be ordering through them when I run out. So excited by this :)
