Worked great on my golden retriever getting all the undercoating off

Really works!
My German Shepherd is a monster shedder and I've tried a lot of the different rakes, brushes and combs. This pulls that itchy undercoat right out by the handfuls and he loves it. I bring it out to brush him and he comes running.

ELIMINATE SHEDDING 10 MONTHS A YEAR; Great for Gifts to Dog Owners Too
Except for super short haired dogs and cats, this works great. Have given it to several pet owning friends who complained about shedding. Most did not know that shedding is not continuous. Rather, it is mostly twice a year, and if one spends 5 to 10 minutes a day during each roughly four week shed period, the loose hairs all over the house/apartment mostly disappear.Start with the wide separation port and always be gentle, so as to not frighten your pet from the brushing. Then, as needed, use the finer comb part.

Makes curls
Generally, I like this, and the cat seems too as well. The only issue I find is that unlike the other coat we have for her, this one makes curls, kind of like you make a bow out of ribbon. As a result the fur gets all over me. The comb that this replaces holds all the fur on the comb, making less of a mess. That said, she seems like this one better, so like a lot of us, I'll do with the cat wants, and not what's convenient for me! :-)

Best brush I've ever used. Literally changed our lives.
I don't know how it works or why it works SO MUCH BETTER than every other descending brush we have, but it does. I wish I had before and after photos, but suffice it to say this:My fiance has a husky/German shepherd mix (Rome), it is summer, it's hot where we live, we don't like getting Rome shaved because he's really reactive to clippers and loud sounds. Usually, we would do the best we could and brush him every single day from the end of March to September and still have a snow globe for a house in spite of deshedding and baths every other week.I saw this kind of brush on an add on twitter and came to Amazon to find it at a good price. This company was the cheapest I saw and I didn't care about the color of the brush, so sure. It was less than $10 and I've spent WAY more money on way dumber things, so I wasn't afraid to give it a try.Once a week. I only have to brush him once a week for a thorough 20ish minutes. I got about a basketball of fur off him the first two times and his shedding undercoat is gone. I went from brushing and vacuuming every room in the house EVERY SINGLE DAY to once a week on brushing and 1-2x week vacuuming, and even then the difference in fur I get in the vacuum is astronomically decreased. My allergies are better, my house is cleaner, and of course Rome is much happier with not having to sit in one spot away from the other two dogs every day. Nevermind how much easier it is to bathe him and ACTUALLY get him clean.

Dang! This thing really clears out the mats
I have, like, eighteen different cat brushes. That's in the neighborhood of 3 per cat. It's not that the cats like being brushed: feline opinions run the gamut from resigned acceptance (1 older cat) to outright rebellion (the other cats). And none of them are those fancy pampered long-haired varieties, so I don't have that excuse.I have one cat with a thick fur and undercoat. She's kinda oval-shaped and a tad unmotivated when it comes to exercise (or anything remotely strenuous). And as it's difficult for Her Royal Roundness to groom hard-to-reach spots (which unfortunately includes roughly 60% of her body), mats tend to form in the area of her spine, tail and hind quarters.Hence all the brushes. Most are completely ineffective at removing mats, but a few would probably work if she tolerated brushing for the amount of time it would take to do so. Which she doesn't.This brush was part of a set. I bought the set for the other brush, which looked like it might work on the mats. It didn't (it was good at reducing the undercoat, but several of the other brushes did that just as well). Might as well try this brush, though its appearance did not inspire confidence (looked more like a leaf rake than a hairbrush).Wow was I wrong. I removed five stubborn mats in about 30 seconds. Literally. I don't know who was more surprised: the cat, the mats, or me. She didn't like any of it, as the brush definitely pulls the mats from the fur, but everything happened so quickly that the mats were gone by the time she collected herself and managed an escape.TL:DR: this is the only brush I've found that will quickly clear mats from a cat's fur. It does pull (but I don't think it's painful, just uncomfortable), so be prepared for the cat's reaction.

Excellent Pet Grooming Tool
This is the ABSOLUTE BEST grooming tool I have ever used on my 3 long haired himalayan cats. It effortlessly and painlessly rakes through their undercoat and matts. There are other dematting combs that look similar but donot work near as well as this one. I have a small suitcase of combs and grooming brushes I have used over the yrs and not one of them works as well as the Jaswell grooming tool. You will not regret buying one if you have a longhaired pet that requires daily grooming.

Removes Tons of hair!
This product comes well packaged, is Easy to open and it also has clear instructions for it's use. I used it on my dogs. Using gentle strokes, I was amazed at how much hair was coming off. I had no idea how such small, relatively shorthaired dogs could have so much loose hair. And, the fact that I did run across some actual unseen tangles was shocking to me! In that case, you just slow down and gently hold that area and comb, it literally cuts it off! I am very pleased with this product, it works very well.
