Boiron HemCalm Suppositories for Hemorrhoid Relief of Pain, Itching, Swelling or Discomfort - 10 Count

I originally used the hemorrhoid ointment from Boiron and that took the bulk of pain and swelling away. Backstory: I had hemorrhoid removal surgery in May of 2023. I didn’t know how to regulate my stools to get them to go away naturally. The surgery left me with more problems because even after surgery, I was pinned to supplements to make me go #2. Instead of 3 minorly painful hemorrhoids— I had one hug problem of a hemorrhoid after surgery. Bleeds quite a bit at times and has a hard time healing when inflamed. I’ll never go through surgery again. I’ve used Nifedapine, steroid suppositories and CALMOSEPTINE as alternatives for relief and both only go so far. Back to Boiron’s HemCalm series— it gave me more relief than most products. The exterior gets the ointment and the inside gets the suppositories, you HAVE TO TREAT BOTH. Do it at night to rest all muscles in preparation for the morning #2. And this product will not work for you if you don’t get a handle on your eating habits and change your diet and lifestyle completely. Your stools need to be consistently soft for optimal healing. Boiron gives natural solutions to aid you in becoming healthier naturally as it should be. You can’t expect this product to reduce overall body inflammation after you hit the drive-through for burgers and fries. It begins with YOU! And no doctor or surgeon will tell you that because they bank on you entering through their doors for surgery for a “quick fix”, but I’m telling you right now— these lumps TAKE TIME to subside. And it’s ok to be on a natural product like Boiron HemCalm for a few weeks if need be. Preventing further irritation is key, reducing whole body inflammation is your goal. -notes for Boiron- please make a version of these suppositories thinner, the width is too much for those of us who had surgery. I personally melt the width with my fingers to help it along and cover it in castor oil to help it on its way. -notes for Boiron- the white petrolatum as an inactive ingredient in the HemCalm ointment should be replaced with something more natural, otherwise a fantastic product I use daily till my problem is resolved. I can function normal because of your products! Overall, these are great products I’ll continue to use because this company actually cares about their customers.

These really work to easy discomfort. I use them at night and there is no leakage, no mess. Pain and swelling has gone down tremendously

Reviews seemed mixed on these so here’s mine, the only one you need. Hurts to shove up an injured tailpipe while frozen but clear color was appreciated , no mess. Does seem to alleviate swelling and pressure feeling in bootyhole. Does not leak out and let’s just say “hot dog down hallway” was the name of my memoir that week. Much appreciated. Hard to open. Overall I didn’t feel it helped heal crazy faster but it did help with swelling internally so I give it a 7/10

Works better than prep H. Don't trust a fart after you use this. It turns oily and can make an absolute mess without warning.

With open mind, this is me, no one is the same, what happen to me certain don't happen to others. As Dr. in Chinese medicine and acupuncture I have responsibility to report what happen to me. This product promise to relief Pain, Itching, Swelling of the hemorrhoid, for me did the opposite, did not relief nothing just caused pain, itching, and severer swelling, whit just 2 suppositories. My recommendation is listen to your body, special if you are sensitive.

UPDATED REVIEW: I have been using this product for a week now and can appreciate the effectiveness it provides. A little background on my personal issues and experience- I have been dealing with hemorrhoids for 22 years and all they have done is get progressively worse (my best advice is DON'T IGNORE THEM just because they are manageable or only bother you sometimes- get them taken care of right away and save yourself my experiences), I have only in the last few years needed to use products to help alleviate the swelling of them-it started here and there but the last 6 months have been the cherry on top (or bottom). My hemorrhoids went from small unnoticeable issues to where they have prolapsed several times a day and have to be manually returned to their hidey hole only for them to come out right away again or not long after causing several trips to the bathroom, a lot of interruptions at work, looks from coworkers, the list goes on and on. My job is warehouse work where I'm on my feet all day having to squat, bend, stoop, lift, pull, push, etc, basically a lot of movement, getting sweaty down there, using muscles that if you didn't have hemorrhoids you would never know were used and prep h was helping but had lost it's effectiveness so I started looking for something else while I wait for my doctor's appt to come and read reviews for this and thought I'd give it a go. I'll admit my first experience was on then terrible end with the crappy greasy part but I decided to continue trying since I did feel relief in sight. What works for me is using one at night and then I figured out that it would start to wear off about half way through my work day so at lunch I pop one in and sit for my 30 minute lunch giving it a chance to work and found that it would not leak (I'm starting to think that it leaking the first time was because it didn't get a chance to melt in so to say). I do wear a little light day pad just in case but have not had any more issues with leaking but the effects have been WONDERFUL, I can go through my entire work day and the hemorrhoids have gone feeling like I'm birthing a child to it barely crowning which is easy to get back in without having to go to restroom or use my hands so I'm very satisfied with the product and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! ORIGINAL REVIEW: This product works great at alleviating symptoms, I have hemorrhoids that prolapse several times a day and have to be manipulated back and was using prep h but after reading the comments thought I would give this a try. I used this product as directed but after inserting one in the morning 4 hours later I could feel something greasy and it was the product leaking out which left a greasy stain in my underwear that smelled like I crapped myself so I give it 3 stars and think I'll try using it just at night since it does work. Also I work in a warehouse so I'm on my feet moving constantly which might have caused the product to leak or once melted but I will say that my hemorrhoids only prolapsed mildly twice which was a nice relief besides the other negative parts.

They work brilliantly! It takes about half an hour to kick in and after that within the hour there’s nothing. No pain, no burning, no scratching.
