CURT 70001 Rambler Steel RV Tow Bar, 7,500 Pounds, 2-Inch Shank

I just replaced my last tow bar I purchased 17 yrs ago. I flat towed a Saturn vue. And a Chevy 4x4, and now a jeep Sahara. Well it started to get sloppy so it was time for a new one. This one here is a lot bigger and the arms are bigger. It says flat tow up to 7200 lbs No buttons just levers. Works real easy. Only thing, When you bring your tow up to the arms, you have to make sure you are straight. It does not automatically adjust like the button ones. It is much easier to disconnect cause you can relieve the tension by the levers.

Super solid! Just get your vehicle close and the adjustable arms make it so easy to connect. Disconnect is easy also. Even if slightly off, just twist the release arms and you get some slack to disconnect.

The antibinding works perfectly. I have never had it bind. It extends and locks with no problem. Attaching the towbar to the car is as simple as driving the car close enough for the arms to reach the baseplate adaptor and inserting a pin. Car tracks perfectly behind the RV.

A lot better than the Blue Ox I had before. Easy to hook up and easy to store.

Actually got to compare it to the competition and mine was more heavy duty as well as less money. So glad I bought this 1 !!

Only problem is the one of the two arms doesn’t release properly. I have to hit the pin with a hammer to release when the tow vehicle is attached.

The best feature are the levers that release the tow bar connects making it easy to hookup when aligned with the RV. Avoids a lot of manhandling the tow bar and / or Jeep.

Works on my 2019 jeep grand cherokee perfect
