I've had abrasion problems with two or three brands of fluoro, including Vanish, when using slip bobbers on 4lb. After a week of hard fishing, I can say this is some very good line. Low memory, good knot strength, but that's more on your knots than most lines. Uni knots work for me.

I live in Florida n Fish often and have never had this line break. It’s strong and sensitive. It’s invisible in the water. I use a line n lure spray spooling new line. Let it soak overnight and you won’t have any backlash. Berkley has put years into studying and development for Trilene line. It is better and trusted more, than some of the other newer Brands out there pushing their ads & marketing and charging our wallets a lot more.

especially for tie the hooks.. allways straight and last longer. Iam using it in salt water. Just rinse with tab water and use again and again. Fluffy fish is the only enemy of the line. They cut even steel lines..

The spool of line I received was of very poor quality. I've been fishing for plus 50 years using all types of reel - pole combinations with various braided, mono and fluro lines. This line started to twist and kink forming multiple knots (bird nests) as it was loaded onto the reel spool. I had a close look at the line and it looked and felt as if it had been crushed every few inches. The line was suppose to be 8 pound test but broke at around 4 pounds of tension. This line went into the garbage where it belongs. I won't be buying anything Berkley again!
