I'm a caregiver, and I always use Poise pads, for my patience incontinence. They work so much better than bargain brands. We use this one during the day, and Poise Ultimate Absorbency Long Incontinence Pads at night. We put them in a highly absorbent disposable diaper, changing the pads, is cheaper than changing the diapers. I only remove a small amount of the paper that covers the adhesive, at each end. Otherwise the pad would rip up the diaper when you remove it. Of course, we eventually have to change the diaper, when it becomes soiled.

I can only say that the absorbency is better than most. We use these pads as a liner for doggy diapers, better known as "Belly bands". For those of you who have dogs that are frequent marker, this is the pad you want. We cut them in half and tape the open ends, place it in the belly band, wrap it around the dog, especially useful when your away for several hours. For many this is used as training device. Anyway when you get home you don't have to start cleaning up. They seem well made, and very soft. For humans I'd recommend this product!
