Carlson H2323 Rear Drum Brake Hardware Kit

Item came quickly and was as advertised. Had all the parts I needed to completely redo the rear brakes for my vehicle. Good kit!

This is a perfect one stop shop (kit) for redoing brakes on Dana 80 rear end. Local auto parts stores only sell individual parts of this kit so should would have to buy them separately (springs, adjusters, clips, etc). Installed perfectly and brakes function great.

Good kit but no instructions, i highly recommend getting spring tools for replacing drum brake hardware. I personally used needle nose pliers and struggled with attaching these springs. Its not impossible to do without the specialized tools but will make your life a lot easier. I attached a photo of the assembled rear driver side brake. The only thing im not sure if i got right was the location of the yellow and green shoe retention springs. My brakes work great now on my 97 dodge 2500 rwd so im assuming im correct. 4 stars only due to lack of instructions or at the very least a color coded diagram showing what springs go where.

I have 13 inch drum brakes on rear of my Chevy K20 Scottsdale. These fit perfectly. All u need to replace the hardware of 13 inch rear drum brakes. I put new shoes on also. Very good value . My brake pedal is firmer now.

Great fit, my application: 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel 4x4 single rear wheel Dana/Spicer 70. Completely rebuild rear drum brakes and this hardware kit had everything included. In my pic, note that i missed the diamond shaped plate that goes over the upper drum shoe stop below the retaining springs, and fished it out of my gear oil drain pan and reinstalled.

I thought the quality matched the oem perfectly. One thing though, it came with two green springs that I couldn't use. And only two yellow springs when compared to the old hardware I needed four, two for each wheel. This meant I had to reuse two old springs back. With no instructions this is all I could figure. Still excellent quality!

Worked great. My dad bought the truck brand new. I drove it for years then bought a new truck. It sat for18 years. Put all the new stuff on and works great
