Multimodality

The book expands our ordinary notion of language, linguistics and communication. The author builds a theoretical framework on the multiple modes of human communication. This theoretical framework, based on concepts like mode, medium, sign, can also be used for text analysis in verbal language. I think the author could develop a little more about mimesis, which is linked to identification.

This really adds to the discussion of multimodality and providing multiple modes for children to make meaning and communicate. An approach like this is necessary in order to prepare children for the world they will one day enter! This is a great read!

This seems like an odd challenge.Knowing i do not have the kindle device to read the ebook though i have ordered it anyway. I was just naively hoping that i could be able to read the book through my laptop.Now it seems as i spent the money but i cannot read it for my assignment because i can't open it.Please someone have mercy on my pathetic situation and help me....How could i solve this silly problem...nadia [email protected]

I think that there's a lot of good in this book and some cool explanations, but there is way too much jargon, and I feel like he talks in circles a lot.

O livro é com capa brochura, então qualquer coisa mínima irá danificá-lo. Acabei passando plástico nele para que isso não ocorra.
