The media could not be loaded. This thing is cool! So simple to set up and work! Put it on my offset smoker in less than five minutes! I have 3 smokes including pellet grill. I’ll don’t know if I’m going to use the pellet grill again. There might be a traeger on Craigslist soon after I use it a few more times. I prefer using charcoal and and wood. It’s cheaper and tastes better to me. Set it at 275 degrees and tested it with another grill sensor along with my god meat probe and it was dead on. If you have a non electric smoker or grill I highly refined this. Half the price of other ones and simply works exactly how it’s supposed to. I’m so happy with it!Update: buy one! It’s awesome!

So the first thing as you take it out of the box you can feel the quality. This is solid. The parts, even the lowly hose are top notch as is the storage case. The single-knob control is intuitive and easy to use. I had never seen it before and instantly understood how it worked!This is my second controller, The first one cost twice as much and had no manual controls- it could ONLY be controlled via a horribly written and buggy app (that reviews said would crash on busy holidays) I spent an hour dinking around trying to make the app to work.This one, just plug it in and it works! Apparently this has an app if you want to use it and that is GREAT I love apps (when they are well done) but the fact I don't HAVE to use an app if I don't want to is just awesome! After the horrible frustration from the app of the much more expensive unit I don't even feel like "app'ing" on this one right now. And that is fine-- Lets just go SMOKE!So to wrap up, I am thrilled with this unit! Half the price and twice the quality of my other unit and it takes 2 minutes to get it out of the box and start using it! I can play with the app later if I want or not - I love choice!EDIT: Two months later and I installed the app. The app was set up in SECONDS! After all the frustration with another unit that cost twice as much, this is just AWESOME! I am soo thrilled!

This unit is amazing. I have a 22" Weber Smokey Mountain. The adapter easily mounts onto a vent and the controls are extremely user friendly. The probes appear to be extremely accurate and the unit itself seems to work flawlessly. I set the target temperature for what I want and I'm able to go to bed or so other things without constantly having to monitor the temperature of my smoker. Extremely happy with the purchase and will definitely recommend to others.

The TempMaster Portable Automatic BBQ Temperature Controller was easy to setup and use. When I first set the controller up the controls and display were up side down so I drilled an 1-1/2 inch hole in my oak countertop and ran the air supply hose thru the hole. Looks good, works great, and prevents the controller from falling off the countertop. Cooked our 2020 Thanksgiving Turkey with the unit and it worked perfectly.There were two features that made me purchase this unit. 1. There are two meat thermocouples which allow me to cook my steak medium and my wife's well done.2. The storage carrying case is excellent for storing all the part. Everything has a designated storage location.

Didn't know why I didn't buy this before. It made life using my Weber 22" WSM so much easier - I didn't have to run back and forth to my patio to adjust the vents when the temp spiked or dropped. With larger aftermarket charcoal basket, I was able to smoke a packer brisket for 15 hours with very minimal effort to maintain the temps. The unit was able to automatically adjust airflow according to the temp at grate level and maintain it at 225F for the entire cook. After I was done, storage was as simple as wiping down the probes and unit, and place them back into the padded zipper hard-case, and store it away.The fan unit menu is intuitive and easy to use. The unit has a data port that allows for Firmware updates through the manufacturer's website. The probes come with holders that it wraps around and stores securely in place. The TempMaster I purchased included an adapter bowl for the Weber WSM.I've gone through a lot of websites and read review upon review about temp controllers, and the BBQube Temp Master usually places 1st over it's competitors (Flame Boss, BBQ Guru, ThermoWorks, and PitmasterIQ) due to it's quality of build, functionality, accessories, and price point.
