I tried another product that Amazon seems to push more than this brand, and that one was a full 1/8" smaller than specs, preventing it from fitting at all. The Lizard Go clamps are on-spec, fit perfectly and are well-made. They come with multiple sizes of rubber spacers that can be mixed and matched to provide the best fit for a particular bar. Once properly installe, they won't budge, even under significant pressure. I'm using these to attach equipment to a grab bars - definitely not the intended use and probably not covered by the manufacturer's liability - but they are safe and secure. As others have noted, the metal is a soft aluminum and the screw treads are easily stripped if one relies on the screws to bring the halves together. That's just the nature of aluminum and it's true of even a top-of-the-line laptop Apple laptop case. The proper way to apply these is to clamp the two halves together - bare hands are adequate - and to then tighten the screws to where they just meet resistance. Aluminum has the advantage of being sturdy, corrosion-resistant and much lighter in weight than stainless steel, which is perfect for the intended application.

I decided to try this on my USA glass windshield on my 2022 Kawasaki Teryx 4s. I broke the brackets that came with it and saw someone else had tried these. I was able to use them on the sides without any drilling. The trim doesn’t contact the bars anymore but I will try and find some that is thicker. Seem well made and sturdy. They would also work great to mount lights as well. They come with rubber to fit many bar diameters. I am hoping they help with the vibration of the windshield when traveling the trails.

These mounting brackets seem to be good quality and have good fit and finish. I did chose this product over others similar because the picture on the ad show a logo, and mine don’t have the logo branding.

Used these to mount my 50 inch k force strobe bar on my Nissan Xterra and 2 pod lights facing down for alley lighting. They work great, dont budge in the wind and easy to put on.

holy cow! They send rubber gaskets to fit any size roll bar. Very good tight fit and I used it to mount a light bar and a speaker pod. So far they have not moved, cracked or given me any reason to return. Great quality and easy to use.

Used these to mount various things to my roll cage. Good clamping force and the adapters work well.

Used to mount light bar to top front bar on JD 790 tractor. Odd sized mount dimension. The split design of these clamps with bolts from top and bottom allowed the clamps to mount easily and without issue. I used a 1.5 shim and one of the larger shims on each clamp - worked out great as a pair of inner rubber shims of the same size was too small. Plenty of rubber spacers / shims provided. Bolts provided are just long enough for this installation, barely. I will update review after use thru the winter with the tractor attempting to rattle everything loose. Happy with purchase. Appears to be well made and well thought out. Other clamps I reviewed appeared to be hinged on one side and one bolt and this assumes uniform clamping around a tube. Much better for my app to have the two screw, non-hinged, mount.
