Great product, easy to install, and cheaper than a new laptop.
After 4.5 years, my ASUS VivoBook 15 M513IA (8GB RAM) was running slow, so I could either attempt to upgrade it or buy a new laptop. $700 or $75 (including the price of the tools to do it)? ....the choice was easy. I did my research, compared products and brands, and checked compatibility and installation information (Crucial has a lot of helpful info on their site). All told, the installation took about 20 minutes- the hardest part was getting the back of the laptop off- and I went from 8GB to 24GB with no hiccups. In the 10 months since installation, I've had no issues and less lag. Please, don't be scared of doing your own upgrades, but do your research.

Great Upgrade Kit - Improves Life as we know it.
Crucial is a good brand, and you can't beat a pair ("kit") of 32 GB RAM SODIMM for a laptop. I am a power user, and I ignored the retailer's limit and went with the ASUS specification to max out the RAM (64 GB) on my new laptop. No more memory problems with my ridiculous multitasking and numerous open browsers and slew of tabs. If you are at all wondering if it's worth the money to upgrade to the most RAM - DO IT!Check the specs - lots of old systems are just consumer junk sold to unsuspecting victims with low maximum RAM specs - yes, there used to be 4 GB and 8 GB boxes that are useless for modern graphic heavy programs and websites. They can't be upgraded. Check the maximum RAM your system can hold - check the brands that might work on your system (not all RAM manufacturers make the right chips for all HW brands). I know which chips are the best - but you don't get to pick the actual chip (say HYNIX or Korea-made SAMSUNG) so you have to go with the SODIMM brand.Crucial is a good brand, and it worked on my ASUS TUF17 gaming laptop. It's stupid, but this is the world we live in - be patient and take your time to research your system and its RAM max specs and then you have to check the RAM compatibility. Fortunately, the manufacturers are good about listing their specs on-line. Your retailer might not be as helpful since they may only recommend a maximum that encompasses what they sell in their store! The big brand outlet where I got my system (on a great discount sale) listed the max RAM at 32 GB for my laptop - but ASUS said it was 64GB - and off to Amazon I went. I knew (researched) that Crucial was compatible with my system (Kingston was not at that chip size) - and the rest is history. As I say - it's stupid that you have to do all this homework, but welcome to the 21st Century. Do the homework. Bite the bullet. Buy the RAM. Enjoy the speed and stability of your system until the AGI decides we hominids are all obsolete and disposes of us and eats our chips.

Made my computer run SO much better
Received an all-in-one desktop monitor for free from a neighbor. It was relatively new but ran so slow. Upon looking into the specs, I found it had a hard drive and only 4gb of RAM! Terrible!! I purchased these 16gb RAM sticks, looked up a video, and carefully opened up the computer (which you’re not really supposed to do on those all-in-ones). I swapped out the hard drive for an SSD from an old laptop and swapped out the puny 4gb RAM for these 16gb sticks. Put the monitor back together and moment of truth… it worked amazingly!! The computer is so speedy fast, I use it daily now. I honestly think upgrading the RAM made a world of difference, and these should last such a long time. Great value for the amount of RAM you’re getting as well. If you have an all-in-one computer that’s running painfully slow, I recommend checking your RAM and trying this out!

Made a Dell Inspiron 3580 much faster.
Dell sold me a laptop with only 8gb of RAM, and said it was Windows 11 compatible. I guess technically they were right, but it wasn't enough RAM to use any applications. I tossed this into a Dell Inspiron 3580 and it now runs like a champ. No blue screens and easy to replace. My recommendation is to replace the battery and upgrade the RAM at the same time to refresh and an aging laptop.

Worked as advertised
This memory worked as advertised. One would expect that to not be unusual, but it is. The Crucial memory conforms to specifications and is highly compatible. I made the mistake of trying out cheaper memory that was probably functional, but wouldn't boot up in a laptop because the laptop couldn't figure out what specs to run it at. This Crucial RAM just simply worked.

For budget ram crucial is king!
When it comes to budget ram crucial is king. Plug and play. Compatible depending upon what you buy ddr3/ddr4/ddr5.Make sure you do your research. Finding what ram is compatible with your computer is super important as well as how much ram your pc can handle. For example I wanted to upgrade to 128 but my pc could only handle 64. (If you end up buying more than your computer can handle it will use only what it able to and the rest is wasted.)If you are upgrading a laptop compared to a desktop, ram is different. For my desktop, bc of space constraints, it used laptop ram which was good to know as I almost bought regular ram sticks and would have had to return them.I have used crucial for years with no issues.

Affordable memory upgrade
The Crucial 8GB DDR4 RAM 3200MHz (PC4-25600) that I bought works fine as expected. However it was not protected well in a plastic case as usual. It was just wrapped in a flimsy shielding bag which was shipped in a thin yellow envelope. I was afraid it might’ve been damaged along its shipping route. The seller should’ve packed it better IMO.

Great upgrade.
Over a year since I threw these in a brand new laptop. Still no issues. Work perfectly fine. Would recommend.
