I have used one since Sept 2023. It is a great case. It is very rugged, which is good.The case needs an allen key of 1.27mm, which was supplied. If going abroad and wishing to insert another SIM, such an allen key will be required.The screen is quite thick and needs to be pressed hard, especially when pressing centrally. This can be slightly disconcerting.The loop in the metal case at the bottom of the case has sharp inside edges, which will eventually cut through any retaining string. Therefore I have a tight loop and a looser back-up loop captivating a larger piece of string (to go around my neck).However, overall, very pleased.

I have always used this type of military style case since I accidentally watered my garden whilst my I-phone was in a plant pot - new motherboard unfortunately, I do love the design and the fact the case will survive being submerged in water (I love my ponds 😊) and this particular model has a much more responsive touch screen than my previous gorilla glass fronted version.On the not so positive side the camera opening has a slightly lower lip around them than the previous model did which worries me a little as they are the reason I went for this specific model of phone and are expensive to replace if damaged.The sound for person at the receiving end is muffled and poor unfortunately but the voice quality you get is very clear. This appears to be a feature for all these cases as they are fully sealed units (waterproof) encased in metal bands (shielded). That said if you plug or pair a headset or car mic/speaker the listener gets a much better service. You absolutely cannot be heard however clear the voice is on your side if you put the loudspeaker function on - not much use if searching for an email or text whilst speaking to an offshore call centre. 🤪All in all a sturdy, bright coloured (I went for the yellow so I wouldn’t keep loosing my phone) piece of protective kit. I wouldn’t use any other type of case bearing in mind the cost of the device inside, it is a shame about the voice quality at the other end but I feel that will be one for Apple to fix if it is possible.

All the reviews on this product are balanced and it seems the product has its pros and cons. Personally I have encountered none of the issues described in previous reviews but I’ve had it for a relatively short time, so take what I say with a grain of salt.I expected trouble with the touch screen and sound but got none of it, everything works perfectly fine.Haven’t tried the waterproof feature (yet) but that’s not the use I intended to make of this case. It looks sturdy enough and I’m positive it’ll protect my phone perfectly.The only “issue” I feel like pointing out is that the inside of the screen protector sticks a little too much to the display sometimes (like adhesive or something to that effect) and it creates little air bubbles but I easily sorted that out by using something sticky (tape) and slightly pulling upward the screen protector from the display without having to unscrew the whole thing, kinda like storekeepers do when removing dust particles from the phone before applying a new screen protector.To my standards it’s a very good product and I’m positive that any small inconvenience people might encounter could be easily overcome.I do recommend this product if you’re into this type of phone cases.Personally, I love the aesthetic and the feel of my phone being a bit heavier and bulkier since I always have a terrible fear of dropping it with how light and thin it is lol.

Presentation suggests nice quality, and arrived in tip top condition. Its a 2 part hardcase- the rear section has a nice quite dense foam infilled in which the phone sets, so its already cushioned. The front section includes a screen saver with a small opening that allows the fingerprint touch to work. Bot pieces are screws together with the Allen key provided. Overall a snug and chunky fit.It's by no means a lightweight to look at or actual weight, but for someone like me who uses outdoors and workshops, it seems just right. Good grip feel and so far no loss of quality of calls or wifi reception in the case. Of course the bright yellow colour was my choice to help reduce the times it is 'lost' amongst all the other dark / black things in the office, car ow workshop.Only minor comment is the plug over the power connection is on a short rubber band. It fits out of there way but looks just a bit of fudge fix compared to the great design for the rest of the case.More than happy with the hardcase but only time will tell how the colouring copes with a hard life!Quick update a month on. Few occasions of using NFC and more than once either had to abandon the NFC or remove phone from the case - good for protection a little awkward for NFC. ps- if you don't have the little tool to undo the screws then you've had it!!Either my phone usage has change or is the case causing the battery to fight harder to get a good signal. Perception is that battery life is a bit shorter.Last but not least and probably still the most annoying- inserting the power cable is still a tad too tight a fit, whether with original Apple lead or a clone one.right yellow has meant I've not lost it since fitment.
