Total garbage
Don't buy! Totally flimsy. Arm doesn't pull out of the coconut. You have to muscle it out of the coconut. Very difficult to use. Directions for assembly were all in Chinese. Even after figuring out the assembly, I was disgusted by the performance and the quality. I immediately disassembled and sent it back.

Won’t fit coconuts and not tough enough
Brittle metal not strong enough for tough coconuts.

Coconut Opener: Do *NOT* buy. Simply horrible. Bad design. It does not work. Save your money.
Coconut Opener: Do *NOT* buy. Horrible product. Bad design. It does not work. Save your money. I have been an Amazon shopper for 7+ years. This is my FIRST "one star" review. I took a chance on this item with limited reviews because I figured the engineering of a very simple manual machine that when you push the lever-in, it makes a hole and opens the YOUNG coconut and then it would easily retracts (up) with the lever when moving it up, was s too much of a common sense for me to take a chance and minimize a risk. How can this be screwed up? Well, there is a reason why you do NOT see any videos of this machine opening a young coconut. Horrible design. So, after I put it together, when you push the lever in, the whole top piece moves down so when it finally penetrates the coconut, you would need a mallet hammer to get the drill up unit to move up. This created a huge mess ...just to keep it descriptors decent. HORRIBLE, horrible, horrible design. Charging $60+ for this should have provided me with a clue but paying $60+ for this piece of junk, that one was on me. Reviews are very important and I took a chance on this item with limited reviews and also with a video that shows you how to install it but that does NOT show an actual Young Coconut being opened with the tool. So, save your money. Use a cordless drill or if you don't mind the manual work, a $6 coconut manual drill does the work well.
