THIS! This Is One Of My Favorite Soups!
Oh! How I love thee, let me count the ways hahahaI LOVE THIS SOUP! It is very easy to make and quick. I do have to add 18 saltine crackers to the cup of soup it makes because it is not very filling unless I do, but I love the flavor so much, and it makes my crackers taste so yummy. It is a small amount for the money and I do view it as too expensive, but that does not subtract from my love for it, and I have no qualms about spending the money to get it. I have had to force myself to back off a bit because I have purchased other flavors to see which I like best and it does get expensive. I still have quite a bit and will purchase more when I run out.

Good Stiff!
Wow! This soup is easy to make and taste great! Something different. Just enough heat to make it tasty. I admit to adding a few crackers to the soup……still great!

Overpriced and oddly sweet, in my opinion.
The media could not be loaded. I was eager to try this brand of freeze dried soups after seeing it pop up on social media so many times, but the cost made me hesitate. I was finally able to try a smaller pack of 4, for *only* around 20.00. (I mean, sheesh, 5 bucks a serving!)I wanted to see if the flavor and/or quality was so much better than the much less expensive Miko brand, to warrant the cost.I made both brands of soup at the same time. Both are very easy to make. Both come in freeze dried bricks. Both direct you to add 3/4 cup of boiling water to make the soup. For both, I think the serving size is stingy, and they should give at least 1 full cup, but... they don't.I tried both soups in the eggplant flavor.I was expecting a lot from this brand, to justify the price differenceIn my opinion, it doesn't deliver. The Miko brand had more eggplant chunks, and seaweed, giving a slightly more "full bowl" experience. And lastly, I personally preferred the flavor of the Miko. This brand has a faint sweetness to it that I don't love, and a slightly *thicker* body to it. Not the super light, but savory flavor I was looking for, which I did find in the less expensive version.Taste is subjective though, and others might love this one the most. I did not.I wouldn't repurchase this, but I am glad I got to try it out.

Wow! Really good
This doesn't taste like normal miso (didn't expect either). But this is so good! Delicious! Really nice blend of spices, has some chili, not hot (for me - of course subjective). But pricey too. Is it worth 5$ pack? It actually might, but I don't think I would buy pack for every day of the year. But I sure buy more every now and then. Really liked this! Also doesn't smell "mushroomy" if you worry, very mild on that section (of course this is subjective too :) ).

A PERFECT LIGHT MEAL
I love this soup. The only reason it got 4 stars is because it is a little pricey. I usually wait until it goes on Sale to order. The soup is delicious. Miso soup is one of my favorites. It is a fermented product and is a very healthful mainstay in a Japanese diet. These little freeze-dried cubes of soup are very convenient when you want a light, warming snack. All you have to do is boil some water. If you want to stretch it to a more substantial meal, you can add some cooked rice or noodles.

Poor quality control
I tried this last night, or I should say I attempted to try this. I put the block in a bowl and put boiling water over it. It started to loosen up and I began to stir it. Then I noticed as it was dissolving, a hair in the block. I stirred it some more and used a spoon to get the hair out. It was a long black hair. I do not have black hair and it was a new bowl and the water came out of our work hot water dispenser. I was disgusted and did not even attempt to taste the soup. Better quality control is needed. I will never try this brand again.

Tastes GREAT
This soup is so good. It’s not salty at all! It’s a shame that it’s so simple and so expensive. I wish I could get it at my local grocers.

Great Taste!
I gave this product 5 stars because of the taste! It comes in a small 'block' of dried soup; put it in a cup, add some boiling water, and it soon easily dissolves into a tasty soup. This makes a good, quick, healthy snack to hold me till my next meal. I've tried this flavor, and the other TSUBI 'spicy' one, which is not really spicy at all, and both are excellent.I must, however, mention that the box-package itself, mailed through the US postal system, arrived completely and totally demolished! My purchase was packaged in a thin, flimsy, bag, essentially little more than a piece of saran wrap colored opaque gray, then formed into a mailing bag. When I say the box itself was 'demolished', I mean it no longer even looked like a box. It had been absolutely squashed flat in transit, and all glued seams of the box had come undone. Because of the structure of the mailing bag, it had been squashed in one direction, and then squashed in the other direction. My 'cubes' of soup were POWDER, instead of cubes!!!!! The packages which held the 'cubes' was still intact, so the actual soup was not compromised, and can still be eaten. It seems to me that no pride was taken in getting my purchase to me. What if there had been liquid involved? It would have been long gone...This is an excellent product and I intend to order it again. Please -why not package it securely? The product is worth the effort...
