I have several speakon connectors and cables and now go for these over the Amphenol-equipped cables if they are the same price or cheaper.

Seems to work ok, however I ordered specifically because I wanted the lock pictured. It came with the traditional lock of all others I have.

I recently bought four of these from Amazon to connect 2 tops and 2 subwoofers to 2 separate power amplifiers in my DJ system. The quality of the cables is top-notch - extremely rugged. They also look cool with the Planet Waves logo on the speakon connectors. More importantly, they allow clean signal transmission for a crisp, powerful sound from my rig. Highly recommended!!!

I make my own cables usually but bought this because I was in a bind. They are good, have a very "I want you to believe this is premium" feel to them. The connectors aren't as solid as the neutrik 4 pole connectors (with the silver thumb switch) that the premium cables come with. The built in boot also looks like a failure point. Lots of insulation on the cable. Overall this looks like a good cable and I get good sound out of it, I just get the feeling that this is the sort of cable that is good for musicians, but even better for the music shops that get set up as re-sellers. (Kinda like Monster-Cable. Good product, not great, and huge markup.)
