Be wary of this and be prepared to return your packages to get the right grit. This is the second time in just under a month that I have ordered this Dura Gold 200 grit sandpaper. Both times now they have sent me the wrong grit. Last time I received 2000 grit and this time 1500 grit. I don't know if it is Amazon who is doing this or whoever makes the stuff but there is another sticker applied to the front of the package. You can easily see that this package is 1500 grit. But if you look at the sticker and read it is says 200 grit. Either stop putting this little sticker on there and just use the package with the big freaking letters telling you which grit it is. Geesh.

I use this Dura-Gold 220 grit wet/dry to flatten my japanese sharpening stones. This is a tough job for sandpaper because not only do the stones incompas abrasive materials, but bonding and polishing agents.These lead to quick load-up on the paper as the stones shed material.The Dura-Gold paper was indeed durable and held up well in this kind of use case.I would recommend it!

I have been a 3m guy for years after trying other sandpaper that failed fast or failed to start I got the dura gold brand and I love it it cuts fast and you get left with a great finish. I sanded trash and orange peel down from 100 down to 3000 and then 3m compound had a great finish

I'mif you have a yellow on your headlights this is the kind of sandpaper to buy 2000 grain what you do is you soak it in a bucket full of water and then you send your headlights you scrub the hell out of them and then you get headlight restoring can you rub it on there and then you both it with the buffer that I bought above it hooks to a drill okay not a regular buffer but like kind of a rough rubber buffer it works perfect you can watch on YouTube how to do it my lights look like know now and they were completely yellow

Most people use this for cars......Pro furniture worker 37 years.......I use it on furniture after the final coat a sprayed and dried finish. Makes it as smooth as a babies behind. My customers love the feel of my finishes.

Purchased for finish sanding before buffing new automotive paint job. Had already sanded with 3m #2,500. was wanting to sand even finer to make buffing easier and get a better finish. This stuff is CRAP! It doesn't cut and just gums up. It was too late to return when I finally used it. Total waste of $$.

Gave a 5 star rating for delivery and appearance I only gave a 3 star rating because I really don’t buy sandpaper so I don’t know if the price is good was convenient,, for durability 3 stars also because plans have changed so I don’t know when I’ll be using it, that being said I thought 3 stars was middle ground and being fair, from what I can tell just by looking at it I would probably buy again

*Review from someone who knows nothing about sandpaper* I got this to sand the emblems on my truck bc I am painting them. They did the trick, although the sanding part wore down pretty quick so I went through quite a few for such a small space. Again, no idea if this is normal, so I won’t take away any stars. It did work well though and got the job done. Packaging was nice and shipping was quick. I found the price good/fair as well.

I use this sandpaper on a rubbing machine. The full sheet is 9 by 11". The rubbing machine has two shoes. Out a full sheet I can cut three pieces of sandpaper to rub table tops with. These half sheet are very uneconomical. From now on I am only buying full sheets 9-11" to avoid too much waste.

Pricey, in my opinion, but good paper.
