Portwest Texo Contrast Coverall
Portwest Texo Contrast Coverall good fitting with the rear waste band . Length was more than i needed and i am 6ft tall, but they are easily turned up at the bottom . Velcro fasteners on the various pockets and a covering flap on the zip. Nice quality decent thickness materials throughout. Velcro on the wrists as well but i prefer the sleeves loose so i can stretch were needed. Velcro on the bottom can be just turned up with the hem if you don't want them tight fitting around your ankles or can be removed easily. Again i prefer the more loose fitting . They are not baggy at all but just a nice fit.

Weird fit, otherwise nice
I recently bought the Portwest S999 coverall for £25, this the Portwest Texo Contrast cost £30. The S999 are definitely a budget option, the material is thin, the stitching cheap, no zip on the front. That said, I reckon sufficient for the money. These cost 20% or one fifth more, but for that you get a very noticeable step up in quality. Material has a lot more cotton, so feels better, and is also thicker. Stitching is mainly double instead of single, and there is a high quality zip on the front. The pockets have explicit side material stitched in, and are therefore wide as well as deep. Absolutely perfect for putting tools into them without them falling out when climbing a ladder. The two tone colour scheme looks much smarter than the cheaper ones, and the general fit around the torso and the look of them is much more flattering than the cheaper set. The principle negative is around the fit. The spec claims 31 inch legs. More like 34 or 36. Lots and lots of leg. This would be great if I were tall, but I am not. As a result the pockets for the kneepads are down where my shins would be. Sure, I do have shorter than usual legs, and I can roll up the ends so it's all good. Just the kneepad pockets will be useless. I might accept that the longer than expected legs are just free material, however the arms are quite short. As in, a good inch or two too short for me. Maybe I have unusually long arms and unusually short legs, but their S999 overall from the exact same manufacturer has neither these issues - its legs are an inch or two too long for me (as you'd expect if the legs were actually 31 inches), but the arms are the right length. These the Texo Contrast have longer than expected legs, and shorter than expected arms. It's not a showstopper for me, and because the torso fits well, I'll be keeping these. You just kinda wonder if anybody from the manufacturer actually checks what they're selling and comparing two of their coveralls to each other, that's all.

WARM & PROTECTIVE
Some years ago a friend of mine gave me a motor mechanics suit as it was to small. It has been the best outfit garment to do things inside and outside in the garden. It protects you and the best thing it keeps you warm. It took me a while to find this as I am a very slim female. So probably I will have another 7 years wearing this garment.

Good Material Strange Sizing in Legs
First its not cheap but the material is very nice to wear and smart , luckily I have a local seamstress to turn up and save 6 inches (150mm) off the legs (we have saved the material to make it a button close when the zip breaks) she also made a side opening for reaching under trouser pockets or have a scratch and moved the velcro on cuffs and legs to make them usefull. The knee pad pockets are more "shin pad" pockets as they are closer to my ankles but it should last a very long time and i love wearing them now Im average size 6' (1.8 mt) and 2xl was fine although a little tight getting my arms in
