My cat is not an easy traveller but this worked really well. I took her on a 3 hour train journey in this.Inside you can attach a harness and there are several flaps that can open. These all have the safety clips for extra safety. My cat is about 5kg and quite muscly but she fit quite snugly. I like the fact that you can flip the carrier horizontal for more space.With the harness, she was safely attached and could come out and sit on my lap for a bit during the journey (this to prevent operatic miaows).I have issues with my knees so normal cat carriers are an issue for me. This backpack carrier is reasonably comfortable to walk around with and light. I really like the addition of the bowl that comes with this and also the option to have the mesh hidden by a cover at the top. She felt safer with it down in the train, so people couldn’t peep in.The side pockets are a huge plus for keys, phones and snacks. This is a very good design feature.Only gripe so far is that cat has very long claws (bit of forest cat in the gene pool) and these can get a bit trapped in the mesh. Just something I have to watch out for- but this is a trade off for better ventilation (previous carrier had ventilation issue which was worrying for warmer weather and hence the upgrade).I recommend this cat carrier. I do get a bit overwhelmed with all the choices and reviews but I’m really glad I got this one.

Brilliant. The cat likes it, or at least enters it semi willingly. On the front seat of the car the back opens up so that the occupant is not cramped for the trip.Sturdily made which means that with an extra 4.5kg of cat added it is not a light load. It sits comfortably on the back though, and with many zips can be opened up easily whether on the seat, flor or shelf to let somebody out.

I haven't actually used it to travel with my kitten yet, but she loves to sit in it, and with her brother (who my sister is keeping), they love to play with each other on it, around it and in it. It makes a brilliant kitten playground.It's lightweight, looks sturdy, seems secure, i like the buckles with the zips and waist and chest straps. Looking forward to trying it out.My only issue is I wish I could zip up the top rain cover and that it could be folder tighter.I'll update after a while when I've used it to travel with her.

My cat seems to prefer this soft rucksack to his hard carrier, which seems very traumatic for him. We’ve been training daily with this rucksack and after two weeks he’s been able to be fully zipped in and transported to different rooms, to be let out for treats. What a magic bag this must be for him! He does use the mesh as a bit of a scratching board, which we stop when we see him, but no damage so far so it seems tough enough. The bag comfortable and sturdy. And the bowl is a nice extra! My cat is just under 5kg and fits in very nicely, I’m glad I went for this one, the slightly bigger bag of the ones I was looking at. There are many openings to choose from, and the buckles over the zips really help it feel very secure. I would maybe like a shoulder strap as well to be able to use it on its side so he could be really comfy lying down, but for this price it’s a very well-developed product.

Our cat never liked her cages so naturally she didn't like this bag either but I did:) I had a long travel on plane and ferry with my cat and this bag was great. Our cat didn't want to get into it at first but then got used to it. The zip at the top allowed my cat to pop her head out now and then and feel comfortable.It could have been a little bigger but I tried to minimize the time she was in there so it wasn't so much of a problem.

Lightweight but sturdy, and is quite roomy as well. Has lots of openings with meshes so the cat can get some fresh air and sunlight too. Good value for money and will recommend it. Also has a couple of minor zipped compartments, good for keys, small treats and cat toys.

Really nicely made and sturdy. The size is great, especially with the section that folds out. Mesh holds up to my kittens' claws without ripping. As you can see, they're big fans! Bag is comfy to wear lots of storage and different zips for access.

Absolutely right for what I need ie Occassion visits to vets.Love the visibility for our kitty and us.At one point he was using it as one of his hangout places too 😻
