Unrealistic sugar coated
First of all the mum is taking Topsy and Tim to the pool ‘nearly every day’ come on now how about keeping some realistic expectations? It shows the mum in the water for the swimming lesson again not great for managing expectations, this does not happen. Within a week the twins are swimming in the beginners race, again this doesn’t happen. I hoped this would help my 4 year old feel less nervous about swimming lessons, it probably will, because I have just read her a load of lies. This is not a realistic story to support swimming lessons.

Lovely little book
My four year old loves Topsy and Tim and really enjoyed this book. I am hoping that the book will prove helpful when she learns to swim eg. nervousness about doing so. This was the first picture book we purchased on Kindle and I was impressed by how the traditional picture book transferred to the e reader. For example, clear picture's and word's and easy to navigate. Would purchase further Topsy and Tim books in this format in the future and recommend.

Topsy
My 4yr old has been having swimming lessons for 6 weeks and was getting frustrated as he was lagging behind the others who had been going just that little bit longer. This worked a treat, as Tim was a little bit behind Topsy in his swimming technique. We read it together a few times before my sons next lesson and WOW! no armbands. So proud.

Very nice story for a preschooler! Explains simple life situation in simple language. Will be back for more stories from the same series. Fully Recommend
