Great little fan for the money. There’s actually no assembly to it. The size is great for what I want to get for. There’s hardly any noise at all at any speed and the airflow is great. I bought this for my dog! Lol. It’s been so hot and since she is near the ground, I thought this would help circulate the AC around her and she came inside. Definitely would recommend this product.

This fan was bought at 4am in the middle of a hot flash in a desperate move to get some sleep. While my motivation behind the buy was out of a desperate attempt for sleep, I'm glad it happened. It arrived that day (thank God!) and was much larger than I was imagining. It was 4am, I was not paying attention to dimensions. It now has a prominent space on my chest of drawers facing me while I sleep. I would have preferred a white fan, but again, 4am buy. It definitely moves air, and it's not exactly silent, but not annoyingly loud.The one downside of this mighty fan, I can't adjust it downward, it does adjust straight forward, and up, but not down. As my chest of drawers sit higher than my bed, I have to put things under the fan to prop up the back to aim it downwards. Not a deal breaker in my book.The picture I provided is the size difference of my old personal fan to the Amazon basics fan plus the size compared to a cerial box.I am happy with the fan, and hope it can help another woman in my position.

Not bad. Definitely cheap plastic. It is rather awkward, cumbersome, and clunky, the handle area is rather slick, can't get a good grip for carrying around. The base takes up lots of space. It sounds like a fan, but on low speed it is pretty quiet w/a nice sound, medium and high is a tad roaring if you are sensitive to sound. The tilt feature is nice. If you sit at a desk and want some air flow that moves up from your feet it would be great for that. The distance of the air flow is pretty far.What I don't like is the knob that you use to turn off/on/adjust the speeds. It takes both hands, is pretty resistant to turning, I prefer push button style switches. I tried to see if I could pull it apart to see how hard to clean the blades will be, but I couldn't get it to budge.I caught it on a "deal" and will probably keep it simply because what I paid for it I will get my money's worth out of it if it makes it through the summer. It will make for a nice floor area fan to keep the dog cool on his bed. It also would make for a nice fan to donate to a local cooling program in the community.
