Privacy and Sunshade
This worked exactly as I had hoped. Bought two screens for each side of my deck to allow privacy and they also block the sun. We were able to easily attach the main part to the hardiplank siding of the house. The base requires large holes in the deck and took two people to tighten and secure. However, once both pieces are in place the screens work really well. I do not use in bad weather or in wind based on others reviews. Very happy with this purchase and used multiple times in the last few weeks.

Think REALLY carefully about where and how you will install this
We wanted to install this on our wood deck for privacy from the next wood deck about 25 feet away. The outside of our house is a stucco 'facade' I guess you could say.The installation of this product is really straight forward, although you'll definitely need some quality power tools to get the job done.My installation tale: I eventually had to get my super handy grandfather involved to figure out the best way to drill this into the stucco. He essentially came over, looked, looked at the bolts, and said 'no way you can drill this into the side of your stucco, it will just crumble and can't be repaired.' But eventually we determined to install a 2x4 at the other end of the deck, and the little fastener pole at the stucco/house side of the deck, and that took a while and a trip to two stores to obtain the 2x4. The screen is installed now, thankfully, and looks... nice enough? It's definitely not unobtrustive the way we had to screw it into a full on 2x4 on my deck. I could never have done it on my own, four other functional human adults had to be involved. The moral of my story is: think really carefully about where and how you'll install this. It comes with some big screws, and even bigger plugs if installing into concrete, and you're going to leave some big holes if you ever remove this awning.About the product itself, it does seem really high quality, definitely provides good privacy. Our deck is 8' "deep" and I will say that you do need some muscle to pull this awning the full length and get it stuck into the post at the other end. There's also two different holes you have to match up to secure the awning into the post, and when you're pulling this high-tension awning tight and trying to fit it into the post at the same time, it can be a bear.Overall, I'd recommend this. I think it's good value for the money. But you need to really be comfortable and confidence with installing something like this and have thought long and hard about where you're going to install it.

So functional and easy to install
We wanted a privacy screen for our hot tub, but live in a windy area. This screen is so easy to install and use and meets our need perfectly! The quality is high and we are very happy with it!!

Just a swinging.
Love it, I actually bought it so I could sit in my swing and neighbors cannot see me. I attached it at the end of my swing. Complete privacy !

Design Flaw in Pole - Water Gets In
This is a very nice product and it works well. The only problem is that because it is outside on our deck water gets in the hole on the top of the pole and it fills up. The water freezes and expands the metal. The pole warps out of shape and the metal rusts. It just needs a cap on top to prevent the water getting in.

Love this so Much.
I was looking for some way for privacy when I am outside. But did't want to block the whole view. This is the best of both worlds. Seems real good quality. I only with there was an easier way to remove for the winter than unbolting. Check package securely, had to bend back a tab on the pole, they just send out the box, no additional protection.

Does not stay standing , weak material
Bought this to put around our hot tub for winter. It doesn’t stay standing and it pulls the end bars right down. I can’t return because it’s too costly to return it. Waste of money. I do not recommend this item.
