Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Collection [DVD] by Jeremy Brett

The picture jumps throughout The Three Gables and the sound is out of sync with the picture in The Golden Pince-Nez and The Red Circle. These technical issues are very disappointing and detract greatly from what should have been the definitive box set.The picture quality of all other stories is excellent.The performances and production values of the episodes are outstanding.

I hope my English isn't that bad, because I'm from Belgium. I watched the hole box already and it's so splendid to watch. Jeremy Brett is and even now when he's no longer running down the earth, THE Sherlock Holmes. From the beginning to the end he is and was so amasing to see! A fantastic actor. I couldn't wish for more! May God bless him. The Watson's are also marvelous actors. In a word, I have no regrets of buying these whole box! :-)

This is an absolute amazing boxset. It is region free (ABC), the aspect ratio is 4:3, and apart from a couple of the episdes in the wrong order, it is a brilliant Blu-ray to have!

Probably the best collection of more than a few stories and presented in a classic (Conan-Doyle) Victorian style. Whilst there have been good versions of specific stories this is a mammoth collection. Shame the box set didn't use thinner or digipack cases as it is 'large'.

Jeremy Brett was a superb actor, and his Holmes is probably my all time favourite. The case that the DVDs come in is very good quality and keeps everything compact and tidy.

A must for all you Sherlock Holmes fans with Jeremy Brett and David Burke giving excellent performances as Holmes and Watson.
