My understanding is each size and style is priced differently. However, this is more of a vendor question. It's a great shoe though. I have purchased 3 pairs over the years.

How’s the ankle support

Its pretty good. Obviously a full hightop would offer better support, but as long as you lace these to the top and make sure they are secure I don't see having any issues.

If you get black is like suede, you'll see every speck.

The shoe is rocking, but it's easy tight in the toe section because they made like an Italian dress shoe. So you may need a while size bigger than usual.
