Outstanding Product from Sitka
These are my go to hunting pants in the early season. They are extremely comfortable as they have a great deal of stretch to them. I ware base layers under these pants when it gets cold. I ordered a larger size so I could layer below and it has worked out well. The pockets are well placed with zip closures, one right rear and two zipped upper leg. They also have two cargo pockets that are deep with snaps. They should be durable as they have somewhat heavier fabric in the knees and seat. They come with knee pads which I don't use so I removed them. Sitka gear at its best, quality, functional, value. You will like these.

Excellent Quality you wont be disappointed
After looking at these for quite some time, I decided to ante up. From my point of view, these are with out a doubt a very high quality piece of kit. Yes, this does come at a price, but this is not something your going to buy everyday and is what I would consider an investment. The reinforced knees and seat are waterproof, the stitching and zippers are first rate. There is nothing on this garment that is subpar. If you buy these you wont be disappointed. Make a note these are Treated with DWR and will repel light rain or snow. however, this is not a rain suit, don't expect this to keep you dry in a heavy down pour.

Quality (Fit & Finish)
Excellent flexibility for long stalks. They run long /and a bit tight with long John’s. I recommend going up one size. I’m a 31/32 in jeans. I chose the 32/32 size. Perfect fit.

Best Hunting Pants Made!
Took me 42 years to find the best hunting pants for me. So, naturally, I bought 3 pairs of Sitka Timberline pants in OPTF OC pattern. Review time.I’m 52 years old. 5’9” overweight at 219lbs and a 38” waist. A long time ago I was an excellent athlete, so, my body still has a physical shape if you look at it in just the right light. But my mind believes I can still tear my way up and down the pacific coast range canyons and timber hunting deer and elk. Afterwards, my body tells my mind “It’s Crazy”...For over 30 years I have worn with religion many pairs of drape green M65 military field pants and I loved them. The M65’s were tough pants that had several handy pockets, but being made of a thick, heavy cotton didn’t allow for a lot of versatile flexibility when I was at times crawling over or under downed trees or through thick brush having to lift my boots up high with each step to clear them out of choke vines and ferns. Sitka came to my attention from a Sitka vest purchase I made at a store for a gift for my wife. A Sitka vest isn’t a small investment. It cost real money. The wife loved the vest and I became intrigued by the material. So, I started reading up on the Sitka big game line and went all in on a pair of the above mentioned pants. When I got them I was skeptical for sure, being lighter then my M65 pants I was sure I would destroy them hunting. Putting them on I felt like I was wearing a pair of my comfortable sweat pants minus the cotton feel. Oh, well, I would give them a try. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Just getting into my truck I had move movement capability and after 12 hours of hunting I had never felt better or less tired because I wasn’t constantly fighting the resistance of my M65 pants all day. The knee pads and seat waterproofing were a bonus too and was happy to have it. I hunted 8 days straight in them until I filled my deer tag. Then I sat down and ordered 2 more pairs so I can rotate them into service during elk season. I was hunting in conditions that ranged from 34 degrees with rain, wind and snow to 60 degrees and sun during those 8 days and I wore just a pair of Merino long Johns under the Sitka pants. Pants were wind proof in 40 MPH gusts and shedded most of the rain. I did get damp in them during heavy rain but that’s my bad for not putting my Gore-Tex rain pants on. These pants hunt. And they hunt hard. Oh, the suspenders the pants come with really help too. Great job Sitka! You made a pair of hunting pants that makes a middle age guy feel younger by hunting longer with less fatigue. MLP

Super Comfortable and kept the wind out
These were great for my trip to Colorado elk hunting. They fit great, they were actually long enough and I had room to layer. They flex great and you have plenty of ball room to reach a leg up over a down tree without worrying about ripping the crotch out. The knee pads seemed awkward at first but once you have had to crawl around in sage brush dodging cactus you will really begin to appreciate them. They also allowed me to be a bit quieter. As for warmth, plan on layering, these block the wind and trap heat but they are not insulated. The suspenders were very comfortable as well.

Knee Pads & Seat Material
Kentucky's 2019 Spring Turkey season was much colder than previous seasons. My light weight Turkey hunting pants were simply not heavy enough to provide the much needed insulation that I needed. I opted to wear these pants even though they did not blend in with the Kentucky's early spring foliage. It turned out to be a good decision especially when stalking Turkeys. The built in knee pads and heavy duty seat of the pant were essential to a successful stalk . I found it much easier and stealthier to just kneel to my knees without having to reach around and get my seat pad off the back of my pack. I could pause comfortably on my knees for 20 to 30 minutes at a time while chasing that Tom. Great product SITKA !!! Maybe you should consider adding early spring foliage colors for this pant and I will buy the first pair that you make.... Thanks again!

Pas encore utilisé par temps froid. Ce pantalon est beaucoup plus mince que ce que à quoi je m'attendais.
