A perfect gift for your parents. A complete package phone. Lacks performance, not good for young generation.It's kind of similar to realme 3 (yeah I know it's the sub brand of oppo) by the looks but, realme 3 has far more superior camera and processor when compared to this model. But looks and design wise both are similar. Writing this review after a month of hands on device.Pros:* Good battery life - lasts for 2.5 days of heavy usage and 1.5 days for normal usage (like WhatsApp, instagram)* Supports portable Hotspot for both bands, 2.5 ghz and 5ghz* Bought the blue color variant and it has stunning look when compared to the black color variant* Support dual 4g volte* Has an easy use smart UI* Back camera has 5x zoom, could take some good macroshot depending upon the lighting* Cellular reception is also goodCons:* It's still running on color os 6.x based on android 9 pie out of the box. I don't understand why, some device at this price or below are offering android 10. Android 11 betas are also out and still oppo is stuck with Android 9.* Front Camera is below average for indoor lighting conditions.Overall:* For this price range it's not bad, offering decent specs.* If you are not a geeky, photographic, gamer then you can buy this!

1) Had a budget of 10k - got it for less than 10k2) Needed a compact phone - 6.2 inch, 165 gm - its ok,I would've liked bit more smaller phone3) 4gb ram and 64 gb rom4) good battery backup - lasts around 2 days of normal usage without any gaming5) good UI - look and feel is good, you can also disable all the ads6) camer is average - no issue , I am not a camera person7) gaming - no idea - don't think it will support higher graphics games, but normal gaming won't be an issue.8) fingerprint lock is very fast9) screen is also goodI'm satisfied.Gamers and camera people stay away..For others it is a good phone without any lag or issues for normal usage.

Its just an average phone. A little tweaked version of A51)Was not able use cisco webex due to some security certificate issue.So thats one big app not usable in this lock down era.2) System get auto update with or without net. Cant control it. So can expect space issues after 1 year.3) Front camera is just average4)Back camera is good

Phone arrived well packed from Amazon 👍.Surprisingly the 6.2inch screen Oppo A12 came with a transparent phone cover inside 🤩Pros:LightweightFaceAI and finger sensor 🔒Battery 🔋 charges pretty quickScreen bright and no lag during swipesStylish back design feels trendyCons:No headset in box - but it’s okCamera setup is basic @ this price range can’t expect everythingUI has too many added apps and almost takes15GB of memory out of the 64gb internal memoryOverall happy about the product for a start,first experience with Oppo and it’s Made in India 🇮🇳

Amazing

I don't know what went wrong this time because I've ordered almost 7-8 electronic devices including laptops, mobile phones and tablets and every single one of them came just fine. However this time, I ordered this Oppo A12 and got a defective piece. Everything except the adapter is working, even the charging cable. When I tried to issue a replacement it said that this product is out of stock therefore I can't replace it.I would really thank the Amazon if they help me in some kind of way for the sake of my prime membership😂.
