This scooter and another S-Skooter started to collapse at the front of the platform and scraped the ground within a month of purchase. I regret buying this product. I had to replace with a different name brand which is holding up much better.

Broke parts after 3 months of use. Not a very durable unit when used by my 7 year old daughter.

We are scooter fanatics here. Perhaps not connoisseurs, but we have owned many. And if we haven't owned one, neighbors have and we have ridden them. I was a little surprised with this out of the box. It is a basic scooter but VERY lightweight. It claims to have a 176lb weight capacity, but I question that. I am the heaviest person at my house, at 135lbs and I feel too heavy for it. So, I would err on the side of caution and use this for the younger crowd. My son is 80lbs and he loves it. He had a little difficulty at first because the place where you put your foot /feet is quite a bit smaller than he's used to. Unless it's a toddler, you won't be able to fit both feet on this. Once he worked out the kinks, he's had a blast. This is his go to scooter when his electric needs to be put on the charger. The padding on the handlebars feels dependable. There are some nice blue accents so this doesn't look too plain. All in all, a great deal. But I do believe this scooter is feared towards the littler kids. I did receive this product for a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
