Lights worked fine. Installed them in about 10 mins on top of my kitchen cabinets. Did not however have a chance to use the 3M sticky backing. All of the light modes and controls work fine. The custom settings are pretty great! It is pretty bright (can be dimmed down) enough to almost work as a sole light in a small room if positioned correctly. Even with my kitchen lights on you can see the lights. I attached a picture of them in my kitchen. All of the lights on the first floor are off with this strip being the only source of light. They are a touch brighter in person than the picture shows. Overall happy with my purchase and will be buying 2-3 more for my shelves and behind my entertainment system.

Not very good. Only lasted 3 months before sections stopped working and lights turn different colors at random.

Even though it is indoor use I used these outside but protected under a carport. I have had no problems with the function of the light but have noticed a few sections that appeared more green then blue when it is on the white light setting but not really a big problem.

The media could not be loaded.  After much research and some skepticism based on some reviews, I purchased this set for under-lighting on my huge wrap around bar in my man cave and I absolutely LOVE this package. This package literally comes with everything needed for complete plug and play and there is also a ribbon cable lead on both ends if you need to add another strand. The lights are super bright and can be dimmed for mood and don't be fooled by the "RGB" label as these aren't only Red, Green, or Blue. The included remote can switch these to 20 different colors including Orange, Pink, Yellow, Purple and etc. They can be faded in/out (slow or fast), strobed (slow or fast), and alternated between several different colors in any patterns or just using 1, or 2, or whatever and the remote also has options for 6 "DIY" modes and an Auto mode that switches randomly between all. For the price, the function, the packaging, and literally everything about this set, you CANNOT go wrong and the ONLY complaints I have are that the remote has to be close to the antenna unit, otherwise it won't work so don't hide the antenna (the unused wire that comes off the white RGB controller box); The included instructions are poor (as usual); And the peel tape mounted on the back side to the LED strip is weak so expecting this and knowing that I would be mounting to wood, I purchased other rolls of double sided tape and utilized that in addition to the included tape on the LED strip and the bond is solid! I've also attached a few files allowed by Amazon that are just scratching the surface! Last, ALED is a legit company with a website for those of you wanting to further research additional options!

My lights when I first got them, you have to connect the led strip to another part and mine wouldn’t stay in so I had to tape it together which didn’t work well, and that cause my lights to switch colors and turn on and off by themselves and then the part broke. Very sad.

Bought this to mount to my desk. The tape they use was OK, and so far has held on, though I heard of complaints of it not being able to withstand 12 hours or less. So far so good though. The lights all work nicely bright and colorful.However, be advised that the wiring may be shoddy. I had to open up the white box and triple check the wires there, as well as at the LED connector end, as that was very poorly done. Lights were on for about 3 minutes before the whole thing shut down on me. After 20 minutes of reverse engineering I managed to make the wiring connections fine again though be advised that you may have to do some tinkering yourself to get it to work. I may have just run into a bad copy though.

Tested the lights out of the box, and they appeared to work ok. Took a few hours for a custom install and only 1/2 of them lit!Very disappointed because it can be a great product... Mine... not so great :(

These are awesome, really good lighting, can dim the lights as well which can be handy.These kits are excellent value for money and contain everything you need to just plug them in and away you go,The remote even came with a new battery,Changes colors perfectly, Wether you are relaxing or partying,There is a color in these for you,Has a safety sticker on too.
