Can't exactly give this a totally bad review seeing as how this is the second time I'm buying it lol. I love the thinness; it doesn't add any size to the kindle paper white at all. And I love how it locks my kindle when I close the cover. I was nervous going in because in my experience with cases that "snap on" they're usually very hard to get off and you end up scratching your device. But it stayed put and I was able to remove it easily with no problem (I would just remove it occasionally to make sure there was no dust trapped under it, scratching up the back of the device. There never was.)The reason for the 3 stars is durability. Well really more like fading on the spine that has taken place since I bought it just this past February. It's very much intact but the design on the spine looks terrible and there are several worn spots on the back and corners. Granted, I open and close this cover a LOT; I read 3-4 books a week. But I still feel like I shouldn't have to be buying a replacement after only 4 months.I'm including a picture of the cover I bought 4 months ago and the replacement cover I received today.

I ordered this case in September 2017. It is now March 2018 and I'm starting to notice slight fading on the corners of my case. It still looks pretty good, and honestly the fading is probably only noticeable to me - but it still irks me. As far as usage, I use my reader a minimum of 2 days a week, usually about 5, so this cover gets a pretty good workout. When not in use, I keep my reader either on my nightstand or in my daily tote. This cover is light, the design is nice, and it does well in putting the device to sleep/waking it up. I will order a new cover from a different company when I can no longer bear to look at the fading, but recommend this one with reservations. It works, it's just not as pretty as it once was.

This's thin and light and perfect.I had a Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Leather Cover since I ever got my Paperwhite, and recently I stared to read longer before bedtime. So found out with the leather case, the Paperwhite is too heavy to hold for a 2 hour reading.Then I found this one, it's cheap, and I didn't expect high quality at all, just wanted a lighter and thinner one.Tho this one is much more than I expected, it's noticeably thinner and lots lighter than the Amazon leather case, and the quality is so good that it looks fancy.However, for the one I selected, (Black flower), the background color is not black at all, rather it's vivid navy, which looks much better than black color showed in the picture.One thing to know, the edges of the cover are pretty shaper, was worried it would cut my hand when I read, but it hasn't so far.

This Kindle case far exceeded my expectations. I wasn't too thrilled about having to buy a case since I love the way my kindle looks without one, but I know that I needed to have something to protect it. I chose the red leather "vintage" case. It very much resembles the cover to a real book, the quality is excellent, and I received it a few hours after I placed my order!! One of my favorite purchases on Amazon so far :-)

When my Kindle disappeared (lost? stolen?) during a recent trip, I replaced it and ordered this cover to go with it. My old Kindle had a deep scratch on the screen because of an encounter with my keys, and I thought it best to protect the new one - plus I wanted to make sure it would stand out and never be misplaced. This cover is truly wonderful. My new Kindle Paperwhite fit into it easily. And it's absolutely gorgeous. It makes my Kindle look like an old hardcover. I love that opening the cover and closing it turns the Kindle on & off. Much simpler than pressing the button on the bottom. And the magnet is covered, so there's no risk of it separating or falling out. Also, it fits like a glove and feels great. I can't recommend it enough!

I have actually already tired of the design but the cover is great. The closing and opening and its automatic start for the Kindle works beautifully and makes reading much easier. It has changed my thinking about Kindles and I now enjoy using them more.The cover folds back completely and makes it feel like a real book. I also realize having my Kindle in this type of cover makes theft less as people who might consider stealing a Kindle might not realize on is inside this book looking cover. I can leave it in my office or on my bookcase without worrying if it will be easily stolen. I know that may not be a problem for many of you but where I live this is a big consideration.

Fit my Kindle just fine. Turns the Kindle off when cover is closed, as expected. Turns it on when opened, as expected.The design is nice. I'll be getting a bright simpler pattern (maybe solid color) next time: This one blends in a little too well with bedspread, table-cloth, seat covers in the car.The material is vinyl-coated cardboard (something like that) which is waterproof on the surface. Where the vinyl meets the edge there's a thin white strip covering that edge. It's in a vulnerable position, where I reach to open the cover as well as corners that bump into things, and it began to fail almost immediately. At this price point, I'm not sure if anything could have reasonably been done to make it better, but I wish... So far, the exposed edges are retaining their integrity, so maybe this is entirely aesthetic.For the price, I like it a lot.

The cover is solid and fits like a glove. It looks gorgeous! I have only had it for a couple of weeks so cannot speak to its durability but it feels very well built. The only issue that I had was that the case would NOT CLOSE properly when I first got it. I applied a little pressure to make a slight bend in the cover and now it fits well, stays closed and turns the Kindle off when closed and on when I open it. This may be due to the lamination process. I do recommend this case!

Bought this for my daughter’s Kindle Paperwhite 6th Gen. She likes the cat design and it looks the same as the picture that was listed. It fits our Kindle very well too. The wake/sleep function works well. The cover itself is not hard shell as advertised, it’s softer but feels sturdy enough to protect your kindle. It’s cute and value for money.

This is nice enough but the edge of the cover is a little sharp so uncomfortable to hold and it doesn’t lay flat when it’s open so there has to be some tension to hold it open which is also uncomfortable. Hopefully it will wear in.

This product has a very flimsy front cover. There is no tab to speak of to assist in opening the cover. The design is pretty but I certainly would not order this one again. I will likely go back to Inateck or Fintie and from the feel of it it won't be too long before I need a new one.
