This machine works very well. I have made over a hundred seals in the short time I have had it and it hasn't let me down once. It is equipped with a very strong pump which creates plenty of suction to expell all the air from the bag so your food will stay fresh longer. It automatically senses when all the air has been evacuated from the bag and then makes a secure seal. None of the many seals I have made so far have leaked. The controls are very simple. You can choose between a strong or gentle seal depending on your needs. For example, if you are sealing something delicate like potato chips, you choose gentle and none of them get broken. The machine is so powerful that if you seal your chips using the strong suction setting they will literally be pulverized to dust. You can also choose whether you are sealing wet or dry items. I was bagging a bunch of chicken today and used the wet setting and achieved a great seal each time. I believe the sealing strip heats for a bit longer to overcome any moisture so you get a great seal no matter what you're sealing. Another nice feature is that there is a space to hold your roll of bags, as well as a cutter so you can make the perfect size bag each tume. This is incredibly convenient and saves a lot of time and guesswork. No more estimating bag size and having some come out too small and wasting material. I compared many vacuum sealers in this price range, and I'm fairly confident that the Toprime vacuum sealer is the best bang for your buck.

The roll of bag material and built in cutter are very convenient. It has a pulse feature to allow you to control how much vacuum is applied if desired. This is to prevent crushing of delicate items.

Definitely a money saver for your meats. Would of given this 5 stars but the directions were a little vague so I basically had to figure it out on my own. You have to make sure there is no wrinkles in the bags or it won't vacuum and seal properly. If you're trying to vacuum beef tips it's a little hard to keep the wrinkles out. I'm sure there's a easier way to do it than I do it though. I'd buy again. I also recommend this product. For the money it works really well.

I don't use this vacuum sealer really often, but so far it has always worked. The only complaint I have is that it took me a bit to figure out that you have to push down pretty hard on each end of the sealer cover until it clicks to lock it. After that I have been super pleased. I like that it has a setting for moist foods so that it doesn't pull fluids into the sealer. 7-09-19 Update: Still not a heavy user of this item, but it works great when I need it. Definitely recommended!

i missed being able to send this junk back by two days. i can not return it but i can warn others to not buy this product. i guess i will have to throw this in the trash and buy a different one. I have waisted a roll of 8" bags and the smaller bags that came with the sealer do not seal. the vacuum pump runs about 2 minutes then shuts off and no seal. i have three bags that did seal and two hours later air leaked back in the bag. about six bags did seal so in the freezer tgey go. label me as frustrated and have a nice day.

The media could not be loaded. After tried a few times, I was able to seal leftover prosciutto in a bag. I did not read the instructions, cos it’s quite easy and intuitive to navigate. Here is what I’d like to share:- To close the cover properly, press both sides HARD till you hear a click sound，the buttons on both sides will pop out.- The cover is see-through, just insert the bag a little. Too much will block the air hole.- I used the vacuum/seal option in middle. The seal light will turn on and off by itself. The vacuum is done pretty fast even though the action will continue for a while. You can stop it and go straight to the next step by pressing the seal button.- The video got compressed after uploading. The actual process takes longer than it appears in video.

Below was my original review. After hearing from the manufacturer after they read my negative review they provided a video showing how the device works. It works fine but the locking function is tricky - after inserting the bag to be sealed you have to close one side first and make sure you hear TWO CLICKS. A single click does NOT really lock it. Once you do one side repeat on the other side - again make sure there are TWO CLICKS. If it is closed in this manner the vacuum sealer works perfectlyWhile this device is not broken as it seals the bottom of new bags and the vacuum function partially works it does not complete the vac and seal process(even when using the bags included with the device). The device just keeps sucking and sucking and never removes all (or even MOST) of the air and then will NOT seal the bag closed.Buy the Foodsaver device as I had that before and it worked perfectly the first time EVERY TIME. My mistake as I should have purchased the Foodsaver instead of this crap. I will be buying the Foodsaver now. It may be a bit more expensive but it never failed me once.

This vacuum sealer is not the most expensive unit on the list and it gets the job done. I have purchased two (one as a gift) and have had no issues with ether unit. I am not a heavy user but it does get used at least twice a week to store cut fruit and to store steaks for freezing. I am very satisfied and appreciate the small light weight form of this vacuum sealer. noise level is always too loud but it is the nature of all the units.
