I recommend buying metal shish kabob sticks because the bamboo are very hard to get through the potato, but other than that, great product, very easy to use.

I bought this to make spiral potatoes to sell at my town's Christmas Market. The slicer works very well. The only "trick" is that the pitch of the spiral that the blade wants to cut is slightly out of sync with the pitch of the screw so the potato wants to pull off of the prongs that turn it. We found that bumping the release lever a few times during cutting allows the lead screw to catch up and you get a nice cut every time. I cut over 100 potatoes with this machine and it worked great.

Box was delivered with a hole in it, and missing parts. No instructions. Display looks beat up and scratched. Please don’t buy this!!! The only reason I used 1 star is it wouldn’t let me pick zero.

Muy mala calidad, no lo recomiendo. Daria un 0 pero no se puede. El paquete venia bien maltratado y semi abierto. Pero el producto venia en una bolsa interna. El producto estaba buen mal hecho y no qiedaba bien sentado en la encimera. Se ladiaba para un lado y no se podia arreglar.

Product broke on first use. Covered in sharp edges and corners, cut myself just trying to clean the edges that aren't meant to be sharp. Slices too thin and the end bent while winding out the potato, also couldn't do the whole potato as it runs out of thread.

Buyers should be VERY aware that this product is cheaply made- while robust enough to do the job of cutting potatoes, but there is no care taken in the manufacture, sharp stainless steel edges all over. And for some reason the whole thing is covered in protective wrap that is almost impossible to remove from every seem.
