It has a lot of a-peel! (See what I did there?)
The suction attachment really ups the game for the traditional apple peeling machine. Easy to set up, use, and clean, this machine is a time-saver and a real great improvement over the versions that require you to clamp the apparatus to the countertop with a thumbscrew. Yay!You will have no excuse not to make apple pies and cobblers for everyone you know once you get this little gem. Works on all sizes and shapes of apples. It’s now one of the “core” appliances in my kitchen! (Hyuk, hyuk!) Every household needs one if you like apples and apple recipes.

Excellent and efficient; I used it to make 26 Thanksgiving pies!!
I work in a restaurant, and I have years of experience as an avid but non-professional pie maker. Up until this year, my efforts were strictly recreational. But this Thanksgiving season, we decided to sell whole pies to go, and I stepped up as The Pie Lady. The one item our well-stocked pastry kitchen was missing was an efficient device to prep apples. I was looking at an order of 26 apple pies, so peeling, coring and slicing crates of apples was going to be a huge undertaking. I ordered one of these devices, and tried it out. It’s so easy to use, and it more than met my expectations. The slices are the perfect thickness, and the uniformity gives you a very attractive slice of pie with lovely layers of perfectly cooked apples.I ended up getting two more so that three of us could have a go at the apples simultaneously. We prepped 4 crates (!!!) of apples, and the machines were reliable and easy to use throughout the entire process.Suffice it to say, the pie making was a huge success. We made a lot of money, and I had 15 different customers leaving comments on social media saying they were the best apple pies they’d ever had. A huge amount of that success is due to the efficiency of this amazing little device. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!!!

Very cheaply made
When I received this I was so excited! I had gone to an apple orchard and bought a large amount of apples to bake desserts and bring fresh apples to my patients at work in the nursing home I am employed at. When I first used it I did feel it was a little flimsy but it seemed to work great! I made a pie and I brought the peeler to work with me to show to a patient of mine as she had never heard of such an item before. I set it up on her bedside table, secured with the suction handle so it would stay in place. Put the apple in and about half way through peeling and slicing I went to move her table just a little so she could see the slicing better as she was just amazed at this thing! I very slightly bumped the peeler and I mean very slightly, the peeler suction apparently let loose and the whole thing feel onto her floor (carpeted floor) and the thing just absolutely feel apart! The core piece fell completely away from the rest of it and all the springs just flew off in a matter of seconds! The both of us just sat there looking at it like we just watched a bad car accident but then couldn’t help but laugh so hard thinking 🤔 “I knew it was to good to be true” thoughts ha! Anyways! I did really like how a thing like this works but instead of do the whole send it back and try to get a new was going to take to much time since I have all these very ripe apples I need to use up, so I haven’t bothered. I’ll eat the 25.00 unfortunately but, I did buy another one definitely NOT from this company but a different name brand one on Amazon. I received it today (same price actually) and it does feel a bit sturdier and better put together. Has worked great so far today so hoping it will last a good long while! I will however still handle it with kit gloves because of my experience with this product!

Great price and great product
This works really well for the price. I really like the suction to the counter top. That works well. There's still a fair bit of skin left on the ends. Also, I saw this another review: I ordered a new product, but the box came broken and the item was sticky, indicative of it being used.

VERY WELL BUILT AND SO SIMPLE TO USE. I WISH I BOUGHT IT YEARS AGO..
I got it in time for Thanksgiving, with perspective of family gathering and making many apple pear and some such pies this sounded like possible helpful tool to save time.It is JUST AMAZING! not only Peels but CUTS at the same time! I did not expect that!I had it set up after arrival (all I had to do was to reverse the handle that is screwed inwards for shipping to take less space in the box I assume).I tried it on eight apples.. It took me two seconds to suck it up to the countertop, it is just flip of the little handle.. then I inserted first apple as per video instruction by lifting that little arm and rolling back the stab, then I put an apple on the sharpy thingies, and started rolling with reasonable slow but steady speed.I was amazed how great job it did! it was just perfectly following the curvature of the apple and when I took it off I was ready to use my apple quarterer to quarter it but I did not realize it will come off all cut in slices!!! Apparently I did not watch the whole video but only the first part how to put apple on it and get started :).So this is an absolute winner! I love id so much.I really truly wish I got it earlier.Someone here said it is cheaply made. NOTHING cheaply about it. To give you a little perspective I am used to things purchased at Williams Sonoma, Crate and Barrel, Sur La Table and so onand this appliance would surely fit perfectly among products sold there for its qualityease of use and just overall amaizingness and would probably cost 100 bucks.I love the white color that I bought. It is very well baked in paint of a very high qualityso it is not like cheaply painted object. It is kind of the same finish like on the Kitchen Aid machines if you will.Truly, I wish I got it years ago and I am sure you will to.One thing to add. t he peals are bit thick but that is pro and con.. con is that there is a bit of waste but pro is that nowadays the apples are heavily sprayed while they grow but also during the storage, even the organic apples are per Whole Foods note sprayed with all kinds of substances that are not exactly something one want to consume therefore the thicker peal allows for removing them safely and make for healthier pie.I am thinking of getting it for Christmas to those who don't have one yet but should and they don't even know it yet :)
