Hubby is a new type 2 diabetic and loves his dark chocolate. We can both honestly say this stuff is great and neither of us misses the added sugar! It is fairly expensive but firstly chocolate is very expensive, particularly the decent stuff and what price is your health ?? I’m happy to buy and eat sparingly ( not a bar at a time lol ) would recommend to try or gift to someone on a diet or diabetic Chocolate content is good and it tastes rich. All in all good value for money

This sugar-free dark chocolate bar has been a brilliant little find for my keto diet. It tastes genuinely nice, with a good smooth texture, and the orange pieces add a lovely bit of flavour without being too much. It is dark chocolate, so there’s a slight bitterness as you’d expect, but it’s not overly bitter at all. I find the best way is to eat it in tiny bites and let it melt in your mouth, it makes it feel more indulgent and keeps any sharpness down. The only downside is the price has crept up a bit lately, but to be fair, that seems to be the case with most chocolate now. Still, for a sugar-free option that doesn’t taste “diet”, I’m very happy with it.

Sugar is 0.5g per 100g however that's net sugars, the rest were polyols which the body doesn't process so ends up with gas bloating and you know what comes after that, bathroom time. Eating too much of this chocolate will cause it 100% becaause it has not only maltitol sweetener but also stevia, don't know why they need both sugar sweeteners, but it tastes kinda like milk chocolate, not dark chocoalte, as it's oinly 52% solids from the cocoa bean, this is rather low to really consider it a true dark chocoalte. my fav dark chocolate is 100%, finding one that's bitter but mellow taste is the key to success with dark chocolate and it's benefits. I took a star off because of two.5 reasons, one the cocoa solids are too low, and this is too sweet chocolate, making me binge eat sweet things, and having too much of it causes laxative effects, the 2nd reason, it contains two different sugar alcohols, which is uneccessary in my opinion, and as it's stated, dark chocolate should really have no sweet taste in it, and instead vanilla extract which has no sugar but offers just a hint of sweetness, if it's at 52% cocoa solids, I guess it's okay to throw in a bit of stevia in the mix, and would make this taste bitter yet mellow hint of sweet only. However I can see why it is done this way, it is after all supposed to simulate real milk chocolate, with hint of dark cocoa solids, resulting in a sweet taste, but limited to few bars a day because it makes me go bathroom if I have too much. I actually like it, not really much to hate, it's very low sugar, not sugar free, just no added sugar 0.5g per 100g to be exact, the rest the body doesn't process it like sugar, and doesn't spike insulin that much, probably best for diabetics, I'll stick with the 100% dark chocolates from now on though. Side note- you do get 17 bars and they are each 100g Per 100g 465 calories 33g fat 21g saturates 50g carbs 0.5g sugar -Net carbs which is total carbs from sugar. 6.2g protein 0.08g salt <very low salt Has Almonds hazelnut and milk, they say maybe present, this is typically almost always true. Soya <not a big fan of this. and exessive consumption may produce laxative effects. No fiber apparently, or it's negligible as it doesn't even state the nutrient on the packet, now real dark chocoalte is high in fiber, this must be too low cocoa solids to even include 1g fibre? hmm.. Well either way I'm sharing them out.

Very, very bitter. Prefer Lindt’s version… May try other versions of no sugar dark chocolate but not vegan. Unnecessary for everything to be vegan. No sugar is necessary, but slapping vegan into everything is not. Affects the taste. Expensive for size

Value for money Nice sized Low sugar

Revolting, cheap tasting. Better off with Lindt 90% which has less carb, tastes good and doesn’t leave you with a headache after 1 piece.
