G9 LED Bulbs Dimmable 6W (60W Halogen Bulb Equivalent), Warm White 3000K, 110V-130V, 600LM Bi Pin for Home Lighting, 6 Packs

I purchased this OHLGT 6W LED G9 bulb along with a similar 6W LEG G9 bulb from LEDGle. The bulbs were purchased to replace 40W halogen bulbs. Both sets of LED bulbs were significantly larger than the original halogen bulbs but both fit in my fixture (barely—they may or may not fit in yours). The OHLGT bulb (this product) was not only slightly smaller than the LEDGle bulb, but it was noticeably brighter despite having the same 6W rating. The OHLGT bulbs are also significantly brighter than the 40W halogen bulbs they replace and generate only a fraction of the heat. Our bathroom has never been brighter. The color temperature of these lights is less yellow (closer to white) than the halogens but still warm compared to the daylight-balanced ring light built into my wife's makeup mirror. There is a slight delay (fraction of a second) when you flip the light switch to turn them on compared to the original halogen bulbs. It's not a problem but you will notice it. Bottom line: the bulbs are everything I was hoping they would be. I would definitely buy them again. My wife's reaction when she walked in the bathroom was "Wow! I love this!"

These are just slightly larger than the Halogen bulbs the fixture came with so I was able to swap to LEDs, Very bright, color is good, dimming works well. Very pleased. These should last longer and they don't produce any of the heat the Halogens did. Very worthwhile change/upgrade. Can't speak to longevity because I just got them

Good light bulbs and they last very long

I had some older G9 LED's in my fixture, but wanted to upgrade my switch to a Lutron dimmer. I was pretty confident I'd need to swap the bulbs to get dimming support. It can be a bit difficult to get compatibility information on these "what brand?" LED bulbs.I swapped these in and was pleased to get the appropriate fast fade-in and slow fade-out you get with the Lutron dimming switches. I do get a little bit of flickering, particularly at lower light levels, but it's definitely not enough for me to send them back. I do find the flickering "settles out" quite quickly, too. The LED's also shut completely off, every time, which can be a problem with some LED's and the Lutron switches.Light-wise, these put out quite a bit of light. Enough that you won't want to stare at them. I much prefer the 6W/60 watt equivalent in my vanity since it's the primary light source for the bathroom and I want to be able to see well. I also like that these are a bit shorter than my older 6W LED's, meaning they fit more appropriately in my small glass vanity fixtures. They do stick out a tad still, but things are at least improving towards the original G9 incandescent bulb size. I also find that these run a bit cooler than my older LED's too.I used my Lutron switch to get motion-activated lighting in both of my bathrooms using Home Assistant as the automation platform. I'm totally digging the rare need to touch the light switch! It's also nice that I no longer have to complain about the lights being left on, as I shut them off automatically with home automation as well. Overall, my mini bathroom makeover with home automation was successful, in part thanks to these LED's.For some brand that I'd never heard of, I think the reviews for these G9 LED bulbs are pretty fair. For me, it's a solid LED with a minor amount of trouble that really doesn't bother me. Minus one star for the very minor flickers, but otherwise a solid choice. If you're still using the power-sucking G9 incandescent bulbs, you definitely need to get on the LED train!

Since they are significantly larger than the halogen bulbs they replace you need to make sure they will fit in the fixture you are planing to put them in. Measure first before ordering. I do not know how long these will last though. Will update if they fail prematurely.

SAVE YOUR HOUSE. DO NOT BUY!!!!Turned on the light after a few months of use. Started to smell the alerting smell of melting plastic. Immediately started searching the house. The smell was extremely strong. PRAISE the Lord my husband found it quickly and took the light out before it started a fire! DO NOT BUY! It could have BURNED OUR HOUSE DOWN if I was not in the room when it started to overheat and malfunction.SAVE YOUR HOUSE. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Bulbs worked well to replace halogen bulbs. Do it just to reduce the high heat. Next day shipping. Perfect.

Used these to replace some really bad LEDs that came with my sconces. The profile is compact and the light is bright and even. Have only had a couple of months so not sure how long these may last. Other reviews indicate that longevity may be an issue, but at this price, I have a few spares for a rainy day.
