I cook a lot... and this is one of my most Favorite spices...as it's unusual... I recently ran out and picked some up at my local grocery store... ( NOT This Brand),,, and to my disappointment ..it had No Flavor or aroma AT ALL....so I decided to research on Amazon... A LOT Of Research..LOL....and finally decided on this Brand of Organic Cardamom... and it Did Not Disappoint .... I'm so Happy with it...It has a pungent floral aroma ( as a good fresh Cardamom Should Have ) and a light but present beige/brown color, with dark flecks>>>.. this is also ground very fine.. which I prefer... as I use it in many of my "Kitchen Creations"..Haha... I recently used it in my homemade Ice Cream... unusual I know... but it was Delicious and because it's ground fine it was not "gritty" even in Ice Cream...I use this herb in pastas , Indian curry, and meats, even cocktails..>>... I find it "Elevates" any dish I use it in...sometimes I sprinkle just a little on buttered toast... it's Very Versatile ...and can make almost any dish seem "Gourmet"...AND This particular Brand seems to be the BEST I've tried... VERY Impressed!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I love this cardamom, the flavor is clean and just right for a sprinkle in my chai. Simply Organic have some of the best dried herbs. I am a repeat customer and will continue to use this brand, including the cardamom.

This spice is good in a lot of dishes. Cardamom has a unique flavor, and is a good substitute for sugar.

The Simply Organic company is well known for their high-quality organic spices packaged in quality glass jars, and I have never been disappointed once by anything I have ever purchased from them. This cardamom in particular is the freshest pre-ground cardamom that I have ever found, and I have tried quite a few different varieties. The only way to get a better flavor is to get the whole pods and grind them yourself. This spice is the secret ingredient for a perfect rice pudding, and I also use it to make up my homemade chai batches. It is also just delightful sprinkled onto oatmeal or baked apples. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Pictured here: Baked cinnamon and cardamom spiced apples, stuffed with dried cranberries and topped with a generous drizzle of homemade violet blossom syrup. 🌸 Recipe- Slice apples in half and carefully cut out cores to create a 'bowl'. Place a good dollop of your favorite plant based butter in the center (Miyoko's is great, or make your own with the Gentle Chef cookbooks!), and stuff with dried cranberries or raisins. Finish filling the centers to slightly overflowing with brown rice syrup (or other simple sugar type syrup), and sprinkle with a good helping of Ceylon cinnamon and cardamom. Bake at about 400 degrees until apples become soft enough to very easily stick a fork through. Scoop up the syrup from the bottom of the pan, and top apples with the syrup and a little extra sprinkle of spices before serving.

Expensive but woth buying, I take 1/4 teaspoon 2 times in day in tea. It reaaly work to lower (Grade 1 primary hypertension (BP) 130-139/80-89 mm HG) within 12 week of use and bring down to125/75. The reason behind is due to Cardamom diuretic , Anto-Oxidant...properties. I will recommend to try, and also can be used in kitcen.
