The media could not be loaded. I haven't use it as yet but it does come with baytery and screws. Nice and small, qualify product.

It was not effective
I have only given this three stars because when I accidentally burnt something in the kitchen, and it was very smokey. The alarm which was new and is just outside the kitchen. Never alarmed

Effective BUT with reservation
We bought this as the apartment we rented in Madrid didn’t supply. I cannot fault the size and ease of handling but similarly to other reviews the battery supplied lasted 10 minutes after installation. Thankfully I had brought a replacement with me. So either review the quality of battery supplied (it was still in its cellophane wrapping) or sell without one.
