Great taste, great value. Its supposed to smell of meat as that's what it is, a little salty too as it's cured, do not put it in the fridge, let it sweat a bit cut some of the fat off and rub it back on the meat and enjoy. Or you can just buy some highly processed English ham prepacked from the supermarket if you want non smelling non tasting plastic instead.🤔🤣

Bad value for money and too much fat and gristle.
The meat is nice enough, if you can find it that is.. The amount of fat and gristle is not pleasant and hugely detracts from this produce.... Definitely won't be buying this again... you get the same effect from a tub of lurpak.

This is my second or possibly third ham from this company and I can say their service is very good. Now for the ham well other hams I have bought from other vendors have been covered in fat to the extent that the ham either goes into the bin or we spend a long old time removing the fat. The jams from this company do not have silly amounts of grease or fat. This ham was very well presented and on opening you could see and importantly smell the quality of the meat. However the proof is in the pudding as they say so taking my little old ham knife I cut a small peace off and with anticipation started to eat it. Well right of the bat the meat tasted just as I would expect it to slightly salty but boy did it taint good I closed my eyes and let the flavours in the meat run riot in my mouth. I’m impressed with the Parma Ham who ever prepared this ham hit the nail on the head worth every penny.

Quite a bit of fat. Meat was edible but could have been firmer.
Gave me impression of being a 'rushed' job and a product prepared for a non-Spanish market. Apart from the excess fat (which can be cut away), the meat itself was very salty and rather soft and didn't have the flavour that I was expecting. Can't really complain as the jamon is perfectly edible and the price should have been a sufficient warning. Next time I'll go for something a bit more expensive. Don't believe the old 'pata negra' deserves the fame (not commensurate with the costs) that it has but there are many other brands that deserve attention.

It’s almost raw, like a steak and the smell when I opened the bag was unbearable, off, acidic… a health hazard for sure, I had to throw it in the bin straight away, awful! Never came across with such a poor, awful and stinky Jamón in my entire life (and as a Spanish national I had tried a lot trust me) this is the most disgustingly overpriced jamón ever! DO NOT BUY IT COULD MAKE YOU SICK

Great Serrano ham
This Serrano ham was very good quality I normally but a leg but this year for Christmas buy this and found much less waist and so better value for money

Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist top ... wenn man den schinken ausgepackt hat sollte man ihn ca 2 tage an der frischen luft atmen lassen ... er entfaltet dann seinen typischen serranogeschmack ... auch wichtig ist ihn mit einem extrem scharfen messer zu schneiden ... ich habe mir extra für meine brotschneidemaschine ein neues messer gekauft ... man muss sagen auch wenn diese maschine nicht so dünn schneiden kann wie ich es gerne hätte ist der schinken zart und zergeht auf der zunge was für die gute qualität spricht ... ich werde definitiv wieder kaufen
